Loews Royal Pacific Resort - those who booked the 7 night promo for next year

I booked a one night stay next Aug with the 7 night promo glich last month and I have just had my Post office cc statment and they have charged me twice. £107 has been debited twice from my account- just checked my original ressie and its only one night that has been booked.

Not sure if it's a one off thing or a problem with the system but thought I should let eveybody know to check their statements as I know alot of us booked with the offer

Off to try and sort it now, should be fun......

I also paid by PO CC. only 1 nights payment went out last month, another statement due next week, will check to make sure they haven't taken another.
Did both payments go together on same day or a gap?

They both went out together on the same day so you should be fine, still worth checking though

There were a few people on the Dibb who had duplicated payments taken, they just phoned reservations and the money was re-credited.

Put mine on my Nationwide credit card, they took just 1 nights deposit. We booked HRH though.

airelrocks, there is another one out there at the moment, I have just got 25th and 26th dec for $160/n using code TZ12 at the RPR standard room- not sure what other dates it workd for but play arround with the dates as the prices vary a lot

for those looking the deal works over xmas for all resorts, but best prices are really only for RPR. Hope it helps someone- I know it made a huge diff to us as 25th and 26th dec were quite pricey at reg rates. The best rates seem to be for 23rd- 27th, but you have to ply about with check in/out dates as not all combos work. Any one who is not getting to work about xmas then get back to me as I have a huge list already of the best combos, tried all options I could think of before choosing.

OP - are you sure you didn't click "pay" twice as I did this is shere excitment when I booked with Virgin Holidays this year. They were really good and sorted it out for me.

I was very carefull not to get over excited with the excellent offer and only clicked pay once, but it's the sort of thing I would do when I'm in a booking frenzy!
Anyway, all very easily sorted, rang reservations yesterday and they have apologised and refunded the extra payment and I got them to reconfirm the original ressie just to be on the safe side
