Dear Mr. Harrison,

Thank you for your inquiry. Beginning July 1, 2008, our LoewsFirst program will change. With benefits that are more flexible. More meaningful to you. More of what you want. It’s our way of saying "thank you" to our loyal guests. As a LoewsFirst member, you will be automatically enrolled in our new program at your current level. As a LoewsFirst Platinum member a suite upgrade is still available to you. Please see below pertinent information regarding the program transition.

All members will be transitioned in to the new program at their existing level of the LoewsFirst membership for six months after the new program launch on July 1st. In this six month period if you stay at any Loews property just once, your existing membership status will be extended for an additional twelve months. If however a stay is not completed during the first six months after the launch of the new program, your membership level will be downgraded to the next lower level of the program at the end of six months.

Thank you for choosing LoewsFirst.

well goodbye platinum I guess. I only go once a year , and I went in April, so I wont be back within six months.

linda linda, i feel your pain.

i checked the calendar and think i will be one day out of the 12 month plan for my platinum level.

or, i'll have to change 09 plans to keep platinum.

i go this october and will next year so it looks like i am safe for the 12 month period from when i check into HRH.

i need to find out if the time period counts from check in time to check out time for the dates needed.

if it is check in date time, i will be out of luck by one day.

Thank yu for sharing!
Since we are staying July 4th, I suppose that means we will maintain our Gold status. However, this stay would have made us eligible for Platinum. I wonder if I can kiss that goodbye. I suppose we'll find out more on July 1st.

For those that need to stay a night to maintian their status within 6 months, do you have a Loews Hotel near where you live and can plan a weekend getaway? I am fortunate because we have one in Philadelphia and NYC. Good Luck To All!

I just heard that the Hard Rock will no longer be part of the lowe's program--just rpr and pbr. Not sure if this is accurate, but it wouldn't hurt to check.

it wouldn't surprise me as hrh is a chain.

but, the emails i receive from hrh for other cities all state the loews affiliation.

i guess we won't know for sure until loews gives the heads up on the new and
"enhanced" program.

thanks for the heads up.
