Lodging with three beds for three adults - Disneyland stay

I have a party of three adults traveling to Disneyland together -- me, my sister-in-law, and my 20 year old son. I am looking for a place where we could all stay together and each have a very comfortable bed (not share). I don't want to put one of us in a bunk bed or hyda-a-bed, as I have found these are usually not very comfortable.

Anyway, so far I have only found two hotels with a configuration that would work for us if we stick to the criteria we would like:

Desert Inn and Suites have quite a few parlor suite options with either four doubles or four queens, extra bathroom which we don't need too, etc. I have heard, though, that beds are quite firm. I really prefer a softer more plush bed for my 55 year old back after busy theme park days. The location, though, is certainly wonderful!

My top choice at the moment is the Park Vue Inn, as I see that I can call and probably get a three queen bed configuration. That would sure be a great location too. (Not sure how the beds are.) // did see one positive forum comment which is swaying me to this one over Desert Inn and Suites.

Chains where I especially like the beds are (Hilton Brand) Embassy Suites, Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn (good luck only in US locations / beds uncomfortable in a stay I did in Costa Rica). Any suggestions?? The Double tree and Hilton look really nice, but just do the two queens and a hydabed. Most of the new places I've checked like Residence Inn and Springhill suites only have the two real beds and I really and truly DON'T want a bunk bed or hyda-a-bed for one of the adults. Two rooms is always an options too, but I would prefer one room for sure and will go with Park Vue before sacrificing on the configuration that I'm looking for.

Except for bed comfort I'm not too picky -- one private bath, dated in OK, less dated and amenities are better, but priorities are configuration (all together and bed comfort). I'm not overly worried about breakfast. Good free wifi would be great, but I can always up our data plan and use more cellular data for the month for DS.

I'd love to hear about other options you may be aware of. Budget wise (mid week January - slow time -- would like to stay at around $300 a night or less, but could up budget for the right thing).

Thanks so much for the positive comments about that lulu1999! // Gosh -- if the beds are comfy there, from looking at a map, the location is absolutely fabulous. I appreciate that positive plug for that one.

In my experience, nothing beats a Hilton bed, but Park Vue comes really close. The location is wonderful, it's a great choice.

Cal-Pie, Thank you so much for posting. Your thoughts are very reassuring to me and make me feel like the Park Vue is the perfect choice for us. I still can't get over how great that location would be.

We are going to have so much fun. I was blown away when DS 20 told me that he's always wanted to go see Walt's original park and suggested maybe doing a mini trip. It took me no time whatsoever to get on board with that.

Aging DS up to 22 and imagining a trip with him and one of my sisters in law, I cannot see a time that we would occupy just ONE room. Either sister in law would get her own room. Because we're adults in different households and it gives people more privacy. So I suggest looking at two rooms.

TRIPLE QUEEN ROOM
This room includes two queen beds plus a third queen bed in a connecting room. An excellent choice for you and your party.

I took this off the Park Vue website. I have not stayed but have been trying to decide where our family of six will stay.

Carousel Inn and Suites has a "Resort Suite" which also gives you 2 bathrooms. Their beds are VERY comfy. Heads up about Desert Inn, I have always found their beds hard and pillows flat. Just my opinion. Also Camelot Inn offers 3 beds, look at their "Family Suites."

Thanks so much for the info Malcon and Mad Hatter Fan! It didn't have any idea that those had options that would work for us. It's great to have multiple choices.

I thought I'd follow-up and let you know what we're doing. I've read the trip advisor reviews and looked at the websites for all the hotels mentioned (It's great to have some good options). Anyway choice number one for me is the Park Vue Inn three queen room configuration (one queen in a separate adjoining room and the other two in another - all share one bath). I called the property and it turns out FYI that they only have two of these kinds of rooms, though, and won't book for next January yet / Instructions were to call back in March or April which I will. But in case I'm not able to get this setup, I went ahead and booked another property, a Plan B (that's fully refundable with 48 hour notice). I booked one of the Family Deluxe Suites at the Camelot Inn and Suites (a king and sitting area and two queen beds in another room), has a pullout too in the king room and one bath. I will cancel this one if I can get the Park Vue Inn configuration I'm looking for. Otherwise, we'll stay here. Prices of the two when I add in parking for the Camelot Inn are practically identical. The Park Vue could have a rate increase too. I'm going by current rates -- they just set these up to 10 months out. // Base rate right now at Park Vue for three queens is $229 at a slow season time. // Base rate for Family Deluxe Suite at Camelot is $219 plus $12 a day for parking at my slow season January midweek time. And, of course, everything in Anaheim has that 17% tax.
