Locking Luggage

I was wondering if anyone had any problems locking their luggage ATA said they prefer you not lock, but i am not feelin that at all, can you lock it after it is checked-i mean the checked bags

I used to always lock my luggage, but after 9/11, I'd often get my bags back with either the lock missing, or the cut lock stuffed inside the bag with everything thrown about.

More recently, they seem to have stopped cutting locks unless you have something odd in your suitcase. I would guess this is because of the complaints received.

Yeah, we never lock our luggage anymore...the locks are always missing. It's like you have something to hide i guess...lol. They can have my razor and torn undies...lol
