I agree it's important to have your photo ID on you MOST of the time but if I were going swimming, I would leave it in my room where it was less likely to get stolen so that I would have it to fly home. I really don't need a photo ID to swim. I leave mine in my safe when travelling like on the cruise (except for excursions) and at WDW unless I know I'll need it. Things gets lost and stolen EVERYWHERE. Why take unnecessary risk to lose something that you 'really' don't need to have on you anyway?? at a pool??
AMEN...... I would not encourage Teens or Adults for that matter to carry anything valuable including photo ID's or KTW cards (charging ) to any pool it is so easy for things to get stolen while you are swimming
There are some pools (as stated) that every guest will be required to show/use a KTTW to enter the pool. No KTTW, no pool entry. Plus if you choose to purchase an alcoholic beverage at the pool, you'll need to be able to pay for it, plus prove you are legal age.
