Hello all!

I am planning my wishes wedding in Sept '11. (I know it's a way's off, but I am so excited I can't help it ;)) Since I am planning so early, my wishbook is still very limited. I am trying to find pics of the locations available. I looked through Disney.com, but they don't have any one place with the locations.

I've been trolling through the threads and looking at PJs but I was hoping if you post pics you could include the pros and cons of your locale. I appreciate it. Congrats!

We had an in-park wedding at Epcot in the World Showcase in the American Adventure Rotunda and I wouldn’t change it for anything. This is one World Showcase location where I didn’t have to worry about the weather. No matter which location you choose you can get some beautiful shots in the surrounding countries.

The major downside is a 9 am ceremony which means you end up with a brunch instead of a dinner reception, but on the upside this means you have lower minimums for your food costs. Our reception was also in-park at Living Seas Salon. It was so exciting for our guests to be inside the park plus the windows into the aquarium were free entertainment!

We also did an Illuminations DP and ended up at the Lower French Island. This was a fantastic way to end the evening for our guests. The only downside to in-park weddings now is that you must use Disney Photography Services. My wedding was in 2008 before this change.

Wedding Pavilion-Loved that I didn't need a rain/cold backup (for January). It's so classically beautiful, it didn't need much. And it's location next to the GF gave lots of reception options.

Reception at Narcoossee's--lots of natural light, naturally beautiful setting. Downside is you have to use the square tables in the restaurant and dress them up on your own.

Horrible picture, but it shows you how we had it set up

Dessert Party at Sago Cay Pointe-it was easy and convenient for our guests. No busses, etc. We had the music piped in, which was great. It felt like we were in the parks.

We had a Welcome dinner at Italy Isola the Night before-I LOVED this. The only drawback was it was too cold that night.

Tea Party at Whitehall Room-we were going to use this room for the reception till we outgrew it. I still like it!

We also did the legal thing in June (kinda like an elopement...long story!). It was at Sunset Pointe, which I LOVE LOVE LOVE!

We had our ceremony in Morocco, which I loved because it is so striking in photos. Regarding the 9am start time, I figured I could get up early on one day in my entire life in order to have our wedding in such a cool place! :lmao:

Our reception was at the Attic, which I loved for its amazing natural light and fabulous views. I worried it might be too granny-like, but it just felt bright and airy - plus there is a lovely patio. I can't think of any cons, except that they make a big deal about how far it is from the lobby, and also you can only do buffet menus there. But neither were a big deal to us. Oh, and the offical DFTW capacity is 50 people, but the sign hanging on the wall in the Attic says the max occupancy is 179! :rotfl:

Our dessert party was at UK Lochside, the lower UK terrace. We we super-close to the fireworks, and I like how secluded the are feels from the rest of the park. The only cons are that it can sometimes get smokey there, depending on which way the wind is blowing. But it wasn't too smokey for us.
