Following on from the post a bit further down. After discovering you can collect pressed pennies at DLP as well as WDW, can anyone please shed some light as to where any of these machines are please? I was looking for them on our visit in June and never saw any. :sad2:

As you come under the archways into the park, theres deffo one there.....

Are those not the machines you put in 2 euros and get a souvenir DLP coin out :confused3

The only pressed penny machine I have seen is in RFC - I may be wrong though:)

when u r going into the park where u collect the park guides i remember there was one for sure.
last march there was about 3 different ones in the village near the disney store.
and there were a couple more in the arcades (main str)
on our last day we ended up running around like mad looking for these machines as my boyfriend wanted to collect them all. and we did! :goodvibes
there is a shop on the right at the begining of main str (not sure of d name sorry) where u can hire puschairs and they did sell the disney coins there, just in case u need a particular one!

I think these are souvenier coins though rather than pressed pennies?

Certainly that was the only one we found last July, would be interested to know for future visits if there are any more around the parks.

Thanks everyone. I think these are souvenir coins though and not pressed pennies. We did get souvenir coins from under the arches at the entrance where the park guides are. The ones in WDW are pressed pennies though. You put a 1c coin in and then paid 50c I think it was to have the 1c coin squashed and it came out imprinted with a character on. We had a great time trying to find all the machines to get all the different characters.

I didn't notice any Disney pressed coins, but the Fainforest has 2 machines.
you put in €1 + 5c, turn the handle and rainforest related pressings transfer to the 5 cent (comes out in a oval shape)
