Location at SSR while Pregnant

I need help on location. We stayed at the Paddocks in Feb. and loved it. It was quite, the pool and playground were right there and the bus stop always empty. However, it was hike to the food court and main lobby. I'm wondering if we should stay somewhere closer as I will be 6 mos in Oct when we go. I want to make sure I don't too much walking.

We stayed in the Springs last year. Right across the street from the main pool and registration, gift shop, food, and community center. The bus stop is right there too.

Depending on which building you get, the Grandstand isn't that far of a walk either. Plus it has it's own themed pool and it is the first bus stop.

If you were going a couple of months later, I'd recommend the "Fire Rescue" view. The Reedy Creek Fire Rescue station is right next door to SSR, and I've read posts from firefighters who have actually requested the firehouse view!

If you don't want to do too much walking, you might want to wait until after baby is born to go to WDW. Unless you are staying at the resort only and not going to the parks, most locations will be workable. There is always the bus too, or you could borrow the resort wheelchair. Actually, I always thought walking was great excersise that stage of pregnancy. It was when it got to be about 8 months that I didn't want to do anything.

I would have to second the waiting until after baby if you want to avoid walking, since you'll be walking quite a bit at the parks.

I was at Universal in my 3rd trimester, in July (can we say HOTTTT) and loved every second of it! But, I enjoy walking. We go for walks almost nightly
