Hi All,
Hubby and I and our eight year old are driving to Orlando from Virginia this
Spring. We're staying at one of the Disney approved resorts near Downtown Disney, but will not be on-site. We'll be taking shuttle buses to MK, Epcot, and AK, and then driving to other spots. We'll also probably go to at least two or three of the restaurants along International Drive.
Does anyone have any local driving tips to avoid traffic as much as possible, like favorite routes and back roads, times to travel to avoid grid lock/rush hour, etc.? Any and all help will be much appreciated. This will be our first time driving down. The last time I was in the area was in 1987, we stayed at the Contemporary, and we flew! This time, we're pinching pennies as much as humanly possible.
