Lobster Buffets???

I read in one of my guidebooks that there are some restaurants offsite in the WDW vicinity that have lobster buffets. Have any of you eaten at one? My sister and I are planning one special girls night out without the kids, and this sounds like heaven to both of us. Any feedback, good and not so good, is much appreciated!!

We went to the Angels Buffet in the west maingate area and we weren't too impressed but then it would take a lot to impress us as far as lobster goes. My husband is a lobster fisherman and we are also lobster dealers .
I wouldn't go there again but if you're not used to them right off the boat it might be ok. They had plenty of lobster, crab legs and other seafood as well as side dishes. The crab legs were very salty. If you go early, around 5pm it's cheaper.
There's also Boston Lobster Feast but I haven't been to that one.

We always go to Boston Lobster Fest. Its lots of fun. I always tell people its not the best lobster you will ever eat, but its lots of fun!

We have eaten at all of them and I think we like the one on International the best. There are lots of coupons out there for free soft drinks and they have an early bird special too.

They're fresh in the sense that they are alive when cooked but they weren't very good quality. They've probably been held in a pound or tankhouse for a while and therefore they haven't been eating and it makes the meat tasteless.
But I guess it's all according to what you're used to.

I liked Captain Nemo's and Boston Lobster Feast.Quality will depend on what time of year you go..The busyier the better!! Here are there websites..

Usually do the Boston Lobster Feast. I don't go for the lobster per se. I go for everything else. Living in the Northeast and going to college in New England, you get spoiled with really fresh tasty lobster. It use to be a good value ($20). Look in the local coupon books there is a coupon.

I agree, the lobster was tough and tasteless. The rest of the buffet didn't impress me either.

Very true!!
I dont want to hi-jack this thread or anything,but I have bought from this place before and the quality is superb!!
Its not cheap tho,but the quality is worth the price..imo

I am trying to budget for our upcoming trip, I am a huge seafood love and this appeals to me. Is there a kids menu? Is it very pricey for the buffet?

It's been 2 or 3 years since I've eaten there. I usually go during the early bird special time to save a few bucks. I think I paid $26.00/person. I don't know if they have a children's menu. I don't have children. Perhaps they have a website that you can look up. I will be in Orlando in less that 2 weeks. I may go there to eat. I will post if I do.

FYI - They only serve dinner.

We went to the Boston Lobster Feast 3 times while in Orlando 2 years ago. We plan on going at least 3 times this go round too. While it's not the best you will ever have it's pretty good. And for the price you can't beat it. It is all you can eat so they don't have a children's menu but kids eat for $9.95 I belive.
