Is it the Lobster Bisque at the Yachtsman Steakhouse or Shula's? :confused3

I have to get some on my next trip!

It's at the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club Resort. The portion is very big. My husband and I split it. They brought it out in two separate bowls and we still couldn't finish our portion. It is very rich and yummy!

Oh yum! Thank you!
Is there a lounge/bar in the restaurant where we can sit down for a glass of wine, the bisque and maybe a dessert?

I am trying to watch both my waist and my wallet this trip!

I ate at the Yachtsman's Steakhouse on July 13, 2011.

I was told by the waitress that they have changed the recipe of the Lobster Bisque.

I had it and was still very impressed. :thumbsup2

I hope Pete still finds it awesome.

Another great place for Lobster Bisque is Celebration Town Tavern. It is only served on Friday and it is delicious.

I also enjoy the Chefs de France lobster bisque. Had to hold myself back from licking the plate clean last year. Sadly I did not order the Yachtsman bisque the day before - but should have. Next time I will.

If your ever at Texas De Brazil the Lobster Bisque that is on the salad bar is amazing also.

Crew's Cup Lounge is next door to Yachtsman, but they don't serve the menu items there the way they used to. During the first Dis-A-Palooza in 2009, they had a scaled back version of the Yachtsman menu. Your steak choices were either filet mignon or sirloin. They had a few sides, but I don't remember them listing the soup.

When I was there again last October (and December), the bar menu was scaled back further, so the most they serve now are burgers and such. Because soup is so easy to serve, I think it can't hurt asking if they'd sell you a cup or bowl of it. The worst they than say is "no".

I just can't bring myself to order anything but the clam chowder at CTT. It is soooooooooooo good! :goodvibes

I thought it was the lobster bisque from Chefs de France that he liked. I had it in Feb and don't like seafood and it was
Pretty good

Celebration Town Tavern... I haven't been there and we will have a car this time. I think maybe I will have to go!

How far is it from the world?

We had the bisque at Yachtsman in December and it was great...didn't have much to compare it too though as it was only the second time I'd had it. The first time was a few months before at Mythos at IOA for an event, where it was combined half-and-half in the bowl with corn chowder, and it was good too. Don't know if it was a menu item though as it was a plated meal.
