Anyone remember on the first episode when Tammy says "nanna knows her place to cook and clean"... well now she'll be driving around in a phat new car. How funny!!

I can't believe my satellite went out right after Tammy read the part about the car and the trip to Japan.

I wish I could have seen the families reaction.

I'm so glad Nana was given the money. Tammy did a great job with the Biggins money as well.

IIRC--Tammy wanted them to use $20,000 to pay off their bills, $22,000 for a down payment on a new house, $500 for each kid to do whatever they wanted with it, $750 for each parent-Mela must go the the spa once and her dh had to go the electronics store and the rest to do whatever they wanted.

I was very suprised she did a good job allocating the money.

Sadly, I think Nana will see none of that money. I imagine she will get a new car and not be allowed to use it. Why didn't she have a new car already? That family wants for noting, yet Nana doesn't have a vehicle? Do they keep her hostage?

I imagine Nana is also catching some slack from her son (who I thought was nice last night, but turned out to be just as shallow as his wife) and Tammy about getting the money.

Amazingly, Tammy's children seemed very sweet. How'd that happen?

Shows you that being rich doesn't always equate with being classy. Wow! Mela Biggins was a very classy, very gracious, very true woman.

Yes Tammy was for lack of other words stunned!

I did think Tammy did well choosing how to spend the money, she must have gotten help somewhere with that. I was afraid she would use some to send the little girl to weight camp (geesh, she was so hard on her), and rid the house of rap and replace it with Country, maybe send them to a rodeo... yehaw! I was on the edge of my seat when they read the letters...

I hope Tammy looks at the show and realizes how snobby she sounded. I think she was taken back when she and Mela talked about their experiences and she said something to the effect of kids are kids and Mela was quiet and then told Tammy, her children were great and Tammy didn't know quite what to say back to that. I think Tammy was proding for a "wow, your house is great, I'm so jealous"...

But all in all it turned out great and I hope Nana gets to relax and take some time and money for herself. She seems like a wonderful person! I just hope Tammy and Yugi don't give it to her too hard for getting the money. Go Mela for crediting her.
