We are booking our LL on Wednesday for our upcoming trip with our family, 6 adults and 2 littles, ages 18 months and 1 year. Would anyone care to share their LLMP and LLSP for each park? I’ve planned ALOT of Disney trips, but none with littles and I’m lost lol. Should I concentrate on those things the babies can do or get them for the adult attractions, or a little of both?

I would do a little of both. Even Winnie the Pooh can have a lengthy standby line. The difficulty is balancing rides for the littles with those for the adults, especially when the adults want to see the toddlers enjoy their rides!

We went in January with a 20 month old, and I was somewhat surprised by how many of our favorites she could ride.

This will be our first trip with a baby as well! (Going in June and our daughter will be 10 months). We're planning for a bit of both but also want to prioritize lines with more of an outdoor queue, since that may be harder for her. Here's our plans:

LLSP:
  • Guardians - possible more than once. This is our favorite ride and want to ride multiple times, but baby won't tolerate the line.
  • Rise of the Resistance
  • Flight of Passage
Still on the fence about TRON / 7DMT. I don't particularly love either ride, but could be convinced if others in our party have interest.

LLMP:
  • Animal Kingdom: Safaris, DINOSAUR (mainly for husband), and Navi River - baby can ride 2/3 of these. We plan to do Everest single rider and possibly grab another LL for Festival of the Lion King or Finding Nemo show.
  • Epcot: Remy's, Spaceship Earth, Figment - baby can ride all of these! Remy's is selfishly my preference, though hoping for Frozen LL some afternoon too. Otherwise, I think she could handle the line since it is indoors. We plan to wait for Gran Fiesta Tour, Living with the land, and The Seas with potential to grab a Soarin' LL later or just wait that one out.
  • Studios: Runaway Railway, Tower of Terror, Midway Mania - baby can ride 2/3 of these. Our group could take or leave Slinky and we plan for single rider on Rock'n'Roller Coaster and Smugglers Run. We may snag another LL for Star Tours, and the Disney Jr Show is of interest to us for the baby.
  • Magic Kingdom: Doing two days of LL here with hopes of Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Buzz, Tiana's, Little Mermaid, and Pooh. Baby can ride 4/6 of those. We also plan on doing Jungle Cruise, possibly Peter Pan, Small World, Dumbo, and PeopleMover as our musts. Hoping we can get an afternoon LL for Jungle Cruise / Peter Pan at some point in the trip.

baby won't tolerate the line.
My understanding is that the baby won’t be allowed in the line, because she’s too small to ride. You need to plan to Rider Swap, which occurs outside the queue, for any ride that has a height requirement. So the queue itself being in or out of sun isn’t significant - it’s who will wait with her and where, while others ride and then meet up to take custody of the baby while Party #2 rides.

Good to know - this is our first time travelling with anyone young/small enough to not be permitted on everything! Will they still allow us to Rider Swap if we have multiple adults, or would they expect some to wait with baby and the others wait in line again? We will have a pretty large party with us and all can ride except for the baby.

Many times you can do your own version of Rider Swap by booking LLs and taking turns with the baby. But there may be aspects I’m not familiar with. Did you know there’s a Disney for Families forum here? I found it very helpful when planning our January visit with 20 month old granddaughter! https://www.disboards.com/forums/disney-for-families.23/

We were there a few weeks ago and used LL. We were easily able to get more LL after our original 3 so you should be able to more LL than your planning right now. A couple comments on your LL picks:

Try and get your first pick in Epcot as close to park opening as you can. Frozen did have some later day availability within the first hour or so of park opening. Remy does have a single rider line though if that would impact your decision. Should easily be able to get a LL for Soarin.

There was lots of LL availability at Hollywood Studios day of except for Slinky, so there’s a chance you could get more LL and not have to do single rider. Don’t need to worry about LL for Disney Jr. show.

Little mermaid had almost immediate day of availability so I wouldn’t pre book it. Pooh is surprisingly hard to get so potentially book that both days if it’s a big priority for the baby. Pirates would also be a good pick. Space mountain has lots of day of availability given other tier one rides being way more popular. Would likely be better of pre booking jungle cruise or Peter Pan (Peter pan would be my pick) and getting day of availability for space mountain.
