Anyone try these? They are cute and a great price, but I was wondering if they are as comfortable as the Crocs. I am having trouble with the crocs. They are way too wide for my feet. These look slimmer. I have been trying to order the Caymans from Shoebuy, but they don't have my size and I am running out of patience. I love my Airwalks, but I want a brown color and they dont have it. The LLBean ones use the word foam instead of rubber and say they mold to your feet, so I am thinking they are probably comfortable, but was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. I would hate to have to pay to return them (I couldnt find in the catalog whether you have to pay return shipping, but am assuming).
Thanks for any help,
Karen

I tried some on in LL Bean last month, decided they felt more comfortable than the Caymans that I got from shoebuy (which I still haven't decided if I'm going to keep) but they didn't have my size in the color I wanted so they shipped them to me. For some reason when I received the new pair and tried them on they didn't seem as comfortable as when I had tried them on a few days earlier. I don't know, I think I'm just not meant to wear the clog style (I have the Niles which I like). The LL Bean ones definitely feel different than the Crocs, more "foamy" like as you mentioned. I don't really know how to explain it. I'm probably being of absolutely no help to you!!

Yes, you'll have to pay for return shipping. I'm fortunate to live just over an hour away from LL Bean so I can just hang on to them until the next time I'm down that way.

One other thing, the strap doesn't flip over the same way as the Crocs. It's actually a button which you have to unbutton, flip over the strap, and then rebutton. I thought I liked the idea at first because the strap broke on DD's Crocs and the LL Bean seems more sturdy but if you're one who flips the strap a lot I could see it being a bit of a pain. One nice thing about LLBean though is that if the strap or anything ever breaks they're guaranteed for replacement or refund.

Thank you for your response. They must have changed them, because they no longer have a strap on the adult sizes (the kids still do). Am I correct in thinking that they are made slimmer than the regular crocs? And what about sizing? Were they pretty true to size? I sometimes wear a 6 1/2 and sometimes a 7. They say to order down for half sizes, but since sometimes I wear a 7 I am not sure what to do. I really appreciate your help!

You're right, I just checked the website and they definitely changed them, no more strap. The website says order UP for half sizes so you should order a size 7 (that's what I would have suggested anyway since they seem to fit pretty true to size).

I just hit a clearance sale at my local LL Bean in Marlton, NJ. They had the Beach clogs on sale for $9.00. I picked up 2 pairs-turquoise and purple. I bought a 7. I think they run a little small. I am a 6W but can wear a 6 1/2 reg., but these 7's feel comfy. I believe you are right, they are more narrow.

I just had to chime in. I love my Caymans but recently purchased the Crocs Endeavor model (they are the ones without holes). They make my feet sweat so bad that I feel like they are going to make me slip & fall. I think my feet would sweat if I wore these in a blizzard! NOT RECOMMENDED.

Whatever Crocs or Croc-like shoes you buy, get the ones with HOLES!!!!
