So I'm a frequent visitor to WDW but not so much DL. Last time I used the LL equivalent at DL you couldn't book until you'd tapped in and it was $15 per day. So, here are my questions:

If I buy a multiday PH ticket, can I buy LLMP on only select days?

If so - can I book rides in advance or do I still have to tap in to the park first?

Thanks in advance - we are AP holders at WDW so we've added LLMP on select days but you can book your first 3 rides up to 7 days in advance. I am not a huge fan of that set up but I know how to work it (now).

Not sure about the first question, but on the second one you can only book LLs after entering the park. No advance booking for good or bad.

Yes. You can buy LLMP after you scan into the park on any days you choose to. Cost is now $36+

You can only book LL returns day of, after you scan into the park.

Currently you have 2 options regarding LLMP. 1)You can add LLMP when purchasing a multi day PH ticket for $32 day but you will be required to pay for the some number of LLMP days as your PH ticket (ex 3 day PH ticket would require purchasing LLMP for all 3 days). 2) You can purchase LLMP “A la carte” for $36 per day (after scanning into your starting park and subject to availability) but have the flexibility of deciding on a daily basis if you want LLMP. Personally, I don’t find LLMP beneficial if you don’t arrive before evening the first day of your visit or you are rope dropping and leaving before 11:00 AM on the last day of your visit.

Do you mean, the single day $36 a la carte isn't worth it, or you mean, not worth buying for the whole time UNLESS you are going to use it for a full day every day?

Edit: on a 5 day ticket, we save $20 over buying it a la carte every day, but if there's even 1 day where we are like, eh, decide not to buy, 4x36 is still less than 5x 32. Is that what you mean?

LLMP isn’t beneficial if you arrive in the evening because return times will be eaten up by then, you won’t be able to use very many LLs before close, and wait times drop after 10PM or so at DL. And if you are just there for the morning, you won’t use it enough to make it worthwhile, especially since from rope drop until around 10-11AM wait times are shorter anyway. Also, the busier it is, the more guests who are competing for return times. We bought LLMP on Monday 11/18 because my son had a 1 day ticket and we wanted to make the most of our time and because an accessibility services cast member had recommended it last time I requested services, to help with attractions that don’t have location return times. We arrived at 11AM. By 3PM LLs for popular rides were past 9PM, when we intended to leave. I was super frustrated. All in all we used LLMP for 3 attractions, for a total of $59 ($32 for DS, $27 for me), and one of those was Incredicoaster which we didn’t really need LL for.

On a 5 day ticket, LLMP is $160, right? And then the LLSPs are about $25 each on average, depending when you go? Next time we go as a family I’m going to cut us down from 5 days to 3 days, stay at Pixar Place insisted of GCH, and then buy LLPP one day. It’s seem so much more efficient and nicer to just go when you want to and not worry about windows.

If you have 5 full days in the parks, I’m not sure you need LLMP every day. If you arrive at the parks until later in the day on day 1, I would consider buying a LLSP for RotR and riding high capacity rides standby or simply enjoying the ambiance until wait times drop later in the evening. If you are only going to be in the parks for the first few hours of the morning on day 5, you probably won’t receive enough of a benefit from LLMP to justify the cost.

Thanks - we are not doing park days on arrival and departure days, ad we are coming from the East Coast, so we'll probably do a lot of early morning standby and maybe 1 LLMP day in each park, and see how it goes.

If you buy a multi day ticket, you can only buy LLMP for the entire ticket. If you want to pick and choose days, you have to wait and do it day of.

No pre-booking at DLR. Thankfully.

If you have 5 full days in the parks and rope drop you should be in great shape to ride every attraction multiple times. Adding LLMP day of is easy and can be done via the app while waiting for rope drop. Have a great trip.
