Backpacks up $2 to $5. I ordered one last week (a new fall color) and today it is more $$.
Rolling duffles went up $10
Unshrinkable dresses up $2. If you bought 3 or more they were $20, now they are $24 each.
Lunch bags also went up.

I got an email for 20% off store only, called the store Thurs to see what colors they had in the rolling duffle, associate said it was $90. Went to the store today and it was $100, they said the price went up last night. :headache:

Wow, I'm glad I bought the briefcase DH wanted last week! It was $159 then, and I thought that was kind of pricey...it's now $189!

I hate to say it, but I figured something was going to give with the "always free shipping". As they say, nothing is free....

Probably because they are opening a new store in a mall nearby us LOL.

Like a PP, Im sure its to cover the "free shipping, regardless of amount".

I recently went to their website via my uPromise account. I was quickly reminded why I have never made a purchase from them in my entire life. Sticker shock.

OP here... At least when I drove an hour to the store to pick up the rolling duffle they honored the price from the day before. They felt bad since I drove an hour, called two days before to make sure they had it in stock and I was replacing the same bag that DCL damaged.

Just an FYI, Gap Outlet also raised prices on cotton items in the last week or so. I had seen a zip-up hoodie I wanted, went back last Sunday when they had a sale. The bottom of the tag was torn off and there was a new sticker on it with a higher price. The woman said all the cotton basics like hoodies and sweat pants went up.

They have been warning us for awhile that items made with cotton would go up..looks like here we go..

FYI, LLBean in-store had a great sale last summer (I think August). I got cashmere sweaters for $15, corduroy pants for $5, etc. It was really good! Not surprised about the prices though; everything seems to be going up.

With their no questions asked return policy I am OK with a price increase. I have returned a set of slippers several times and have always been treated well and had the item replaced with no questions. Try that at most other stores, not gonna happen.:thumbsup2

I work in the textile industry, and have known for a while that the costs of stuff were going to go up.... It's because cotton crops were damaged, and so the price of cotton itself has gone up.

Hope I like what I just ordered. I ordered a couple of shirts and a carryon bag before the prices went up.

If the size of the shirts are wrong or I don't like the bag, I'll probably just return them without looking for something else on their website.

Their prices were high enough already.
