Next Thursday will be my first time prebooking LL with the new system. I plan to book LL for two separate parks. Will I book park #1 and check out then book park #2 and check out? I will be on right at 7:00. How far can I get in the app before 7 am? Just trying to figure out how fast I have to be. I know I need to be fast to try to get something like Slinky, but what about for the second park?

Thanks!

In the same transaction you can book LLMP (those advanced choices must be made for the park you purchased it for) and 2 LLSP (these can be in two different parks).

Slinky would be a tier 1 of the LLMP. If you're looking to book the LLMP then you'll be making up to 3 choices in advanced AT THE SAME PARK.
So if that's HS then you'd be limited to booking those advanced selections at HS.

Sorry, your question isnt' completely clear to me. Just hope you understand that you will only be able to purchase LLMP for one park and you'll book up to 3 LLMP attractions at that park, including a tier 1 attraction. You cannot book LLMP for a different park until the day you're at the parks and have actually used your first LL attraction.

You'll also be able to purchase separately (but at the same time you're making LLMP reservations) up to 2 LLSP attractions at any of the parks. That's a max of 2 for the entire day. As mentioned above, sounds like you'll be buying LLMP for HS, and immediately going to Slinky to try to book that attraction. If you're staying onsite at WDW, you can book 7 days out plus the length of your reservation - so if Slinky doesn't work out your first day, you might be able to arrange for it later in your stay (again, not sure if you're onsite).

All of your LLMP and LLSP attractions are purchased on a daily basis on the app. So you'll make all your selections for the first day you choose, check out, and pay, and then move on to another day.

Correct you are able to only book for 1 park for LLMP per day. As @Kooks and Bay Bay posted you do have the option to include up to 2 LLSP for that same day in the same transaction. After your first transaction you are able to keep selecting additional dates, one at a time and making more purchases without going all the way back to the main page.

I know I need to be fast to try to get something like Slinky, but what about for the second park?
Yes you need to be fast to get any day's hot attractions. You are competing with other Guests for the Hot attractions. As you start your purchase, your selections are held for 5 minutes while you complete your purchase so balance your time to complete the transaction and your best times if you want to adjust your LLMP attraction order.

Does this make sense?

Thanks everyone, I think I understand. I'm literally taking the day off work next Thursday to do this... otherwise I would be in the car. It seems complicated, but I think I've got it.

Its really not. Play around with it now.
You literally just pick the day, pick the park, pick any LLSP you want and then pick the people in the party, and then select the attractions and times. Then purchase. You do have to be quick with picking the attractions because there is a time limit.

Can you go in a little late?
Or can you arrive early so you can be in the parking lot while doing it?
I means if taking the day off makes you feel better then go for it though lol.

OP, if you're purchasing LLMPs for two different days, then, yes, you can book for 2 parks. But each day is booked and paid for separately.

In case anyone else hasn't answered this, the LLMPs and LLSPs go on sale at exactly 7 a.m. ET. There's zero advantage to getting on the app early, except that it could be helpful to refresh at exactly 7.

Make sure that your preferred credit card is associated with your Disney account and that you have the newest version of the app installed.

You do not need to take off an entire day of work to do this. My sister and I usually split up the LLMPs on booking day--and we book for 6 days total--and we're finished doing it in 10 minutes or so. If you're booking for just one day, you should be done in literally 5 minutes.

I understand it will be quick... but I scheduled another appointment later in the day and I have lots of "days off" that need to be used. I'm a teacher and it's not possible to go in late. I could take a half day off work but I have a long drive to work so I'm taking the full day off and doing multiple appointments. :)

Thanks for your help. Now I need to figure out of my credit card is stored in my account...

If Slinky Dog is a priority, know what other 2 LL's you want and don't worry about the time on those to start. Get it booked and paid and then go back in and modify times. It's also helpful to have your HS day be further out into your trip. If you are trying for day 1 of your trip, just know that people who check into their resort in the few days before you are already going to have made their LL's, which can impact availability.
