Thank you very much! Continued happiness and lots of love and magic to you and your DH as well! :goodvibes

Liz, I agree that everything goes SOOOO...fast! Some of things were planned so carefully, and so detailed, yet when they day arrived, it was over in a blink of an eye. And the cake, yes, I feel like I only had a second to look at my cake, then they cut it up! :lmao: That being said....it was also the most perfect, magical day ever! And your day seemed perfect too! It was a perfect way to end your special day with a wishes cruise and with it being the 4th it had to be extra special! :goodvibes
I wish we could do it again! I was so much fun getting to be the bride for the day!

Hey Liz, it looks like you had a fabulous day!!! The pics from the honeymoon shot were wonderful!
Thanks! I wish they weren't so darn expensive though! :headache:

Your wedding day was beautiful!!!!! I love the boat! That looked like so much fun!
Thank you, Toni! It was such a neat experience!

Awwww that is so romantic! Sounds like you have a keeper ;)

Day Three - 7/5/08 - Keys to the Kingdom Tour & Coral Reef Restaurant

We woke up early on this day and went to the Magic Kingdom for the Keys to the Kingdom tour. The group was pretty small...it was just the six of us and about six or seven other people. Our tour guide was Angela. We had these little radios with headsets that we wore the whole five hours so we could hear her even when there was a lot of background noise. She took us all over the Magic Kingdom and pointed out the credits on the windows and told us a lot of history behind the making of the park. I didn’t know that Walt Disney had the idea for Disney World, mapped out where he wanted some things, but then died before any of his plans could go into action. His brother, Roy Disney, came out of retirement and was instrumental in building the park. He dedicated the park to Walt, while Mickey stood by his side.

We got to see behind the scenes, which pretty much was just a giant parking lot (I’m not sure what I was expecting, but I guess I thought it would be a little more magical. Silly me!) Then we got to go down into the Utilidors and see how things happen under the Magic Kingdom. It was neat. Timmy was getting really antsy the whole tour because he really just wanted to see the inner workings of the park. The rest was more of a history lesson, but it was still pretty neat and everyone else really seemed to enjoy it! We had lunch at the Columbia Harbor house, where I had a tuna fish sandwich and kettle chips. The tuna was yummy. There was a cast member there named Jackie who is getting married at Sea Breeze Point in three months and we were sharing info. She is also using Randy for pictures! Smart girl! She was so nice and I really enjoyed talking to her. Timmy was joking that she was just like me and it was like Disney made a clone of me!

We also got some pixie dust on this day! We went to get this Dole Whip thing that our tour guide recommended, and the cast member who served us said it was on him! Our first free dessert! It was great and very exciting!

Later that night, we headed over to Epcot! One thing that Timmy and I thought was really cool was when we were on the bus there, we looked out the window and saw an alligator crawling through the grass next to this swamp! I was very glad that we were on the bus and not out in the grass with him!

When we arrived at Epcot, DH immediately ran into the gift shop, where he bought a new pair of sunglasses that he wore the whole trip and even wound up buying a second pair just in case he lost the first!

MIL REALLY liked hers a lot!!! (haha I made her do this b/c she loves Eeyore so much!)

Around 8:00, went to dinner tonight at the Coral Reef Restaurant.
CoralReef.jpg

As a surprise, they had personalized honeymoon menus for us! I had them make a note that it was our honeymoon on the reservation, so that's why we got those. So pretty!
Menu.jpg

We were sitting kind of far back in the restaurant, so we didn’t really get to see the aquarium that well, but it was still a neat atmosphere. To eat, I had lobster bisque, which was alright but I didn’t really like it that much, and N.Y. Strip Steak. The steak was delicious! It came with au gratin potatoes with cheese on them which were very yummy. There was some kind of broccoli with it too, but it looked kind of gross and limp, so I didn’t eat it.

And we also got a free dessert with a little chocolate banner on it that said “best wishes!” I was very excited about that! It was so good!

What a wonderful day Liz!! The boat ride sounds like a great end to the day.

what a wonderful day! how long was the keys to the kingdom tour? I'm glad to hear you guys got some pixie dust! :goodvibes

Ahh pixie dust is awesome! I hope i get some!

We were thinking of doing the keys to the kingdom tour. Do you think its worth it??

I loved your just married shirts and the way you coordinated your red purse with DH's shirt for dinner :goodvibes Y'all are so cute together! Yay for pixie dust :flower3:

Surrey.jpg

All your photos are wonderful, it looks as if you had a really fun day, but I had to laugh at your Surrey bike shots. When we asked Randy to get us on the bikes he said no one had asked him before and he thought it was funny, but we had a great laugh doing them and I'm really pleased with how they came out. I commented that they may just become the next "Maggie shot" like the front of the Boardwalk one, you never know I could be right:goodvibes
I think they really sum up the atmosphere of the Boardwalk.
Cant wait to see the next installment of your TR with hopefully lots more photos!

Yeah, I was so excited about the pixie dust! The Keys to the Kingdom Tour was five hours long. I thought it was only 2 1/2, but it wound up being five. Dress comfortably!

I'm sure you will get some pixie dust! It seemed like the Just Married pins got us more congrats and pixie dust than the ears did....

Yes, I thought the Keys to the Kingdom Tour was worth it. It was only $60 (plus park admission, so make sure it's a day you're planning on going to M.K. anyways) and we got five hours of Disney trivia and learned lots of little things about how the park started. We also got to take a special ride on the Jungle Cruise, with our tour guide narrating instead of the regular guide, and we got to go in a back entrance to the Haunted Mansion and get right on with no wait. It was really neat to get to see the backstage and the Utilidors too. Just be prepared for a little bit of the magic to disappear after you see all that and see how Disney really is just a big company like everything else.

I loved your just married shirts and the way you coordinated your red purse with DH's shirt for dinner :goodvibes Y'all are so cute together! Yay for pixie dust :flower3:
Thank you!!!! We got the shirts off of disneyshopping.com. I really liked that purse..it held so much stuff!

Wow, I didn't know anyone else did the surrey shots! We were walking past them and DH was like "let's take some pics riding the surrey in our wedding clothes!" I was afraid of getting my dress caught in the pedals and it was a little tricky getting up onto the seat, but it was still really neat! I can't wait to see the professional pictures!

Love the just married tshirts. I don't know if they make them any more but I am going to check it out.

Misty takes a surry bike shot they someone posted here quite a while ago. That picture was one of the ones that made us go with Misty. I love Randy's work also and glad to see that he did a surry bike shot also.

Looking forward to reading more.

I love the surrey shot too. That made me pick misty as well. I have to make sure I get one. I can't wait to see your professional shot Liz!

Ecoon had a surrey shot in her TR that Misty did. Someone else did too but I can't remember the name.

Liz,

Did you make these shirts or have them done somewhere? They are adorable. Congrats on some pixie dust on your honeymoon!!!

Day Four - Sunday, 7/6/08 - Hollywood Studios

This morning, Timmy and I actually got to sleep in…until 9:00! It was great! We were kind of lazy and just hung around the room for a while. I dropped my dress off at Bell Services for Carolyn Allen’s to pick up and ship back home. I ate some Cheerios and a granola bar for breakfast, since I was feeling a little gross from all of the rich food we have been eating.

Anyways, around 1:00, DH and I took the bus over to MGM (Hollywood Studios now.)
B2.jpg

We found FIL & MIL over by Beauty and the Beast and went for lunch at this place across the street called Catalina Eddie’s. It was just a quick sit down place. Tim and I waited on line while MIL found a table. She was wearing a pink shirt. At one point she yelled over that she found a table, which I told Tim. When we got our food, he went and almost sat right down with this lady who had dark hair and a pink shirt, but wasn’t his mom! It was funny. We each got a personal pizza, which was good, and Timmy also got a Hot Italian Deli Sandwich, which was like a regular Italian sandwich that was toasted and had melted cheese on it. He LOVED it! He raved and raved about how much he liked this sandwich. He complimented it so much that his parents each got one too.

The pizza, which was also very good

After lunch, we walked around and eventually split up from his parents. We went on Muppets 3-D first. Timmy really didn’t want to go on it, but I did, so we went. I always forget how long it is and I actually started dozing off in the middle of it! I remember that happened last time, but I thought it was just because I was sick and had taken cold medicine. I guess it's just not that interesting to me.

Snooooooooze
Muppets.jpg

We ran into a freak snowstorm after the Muppet ride and DH was FREEZING!
Snowman.jpg

After that, we walked over to Star Tours. He didn’t really want to go on that either and complained a lot. (Can you tell he was kind of a grump on this day?) We went on it anyways.

Here he is in jail for being such a sourpuss!
BinJail.jpg

After Star Tours (which I still really enjoy even though it's kinda outdated) we went to get a Coke Icee. The lady there was nice enough to give it to us for free because we just got married! Yay, more pixie dust!! I had my “bride” hat on, and a Just Married pin. We sat on a bench in the shade for a while and it felt so good. It wasn’t too hot…it was really pretty comfortable in the shade and there was a nice breeze. Eventually, we went over and met BIL at the giant hat and then went on the Great Movie Ride. We got right on with no wait at all!

We're off to see the wizard!!
Oz.jpg

Afterwards, I got a text from MOH saying that they were just getting on the same ride, so we waited for them for a few minutes. Timmy got a churro that him, BIL, and I split. Then, MIL, other BIL, & MOH came out of the ride. MIL said that FIL went home for a while because he got a headache and upset stomach after being on Star Tours.

Waiting for the rest of the group (with his new Indiana Jones hat that he loved!)
Hottie.jpg

We looked around in gift shops for a little while, and came across the area where they have busts of all sorts of famous people. DH and his youngest brother had a field day with them!

DH & his idol, Andy Griffith (he goes nuts when the Andy Griffith Show comes on! We have a season pass to it.)

Then it was time for our dining reservation at 50’s Prime Time Café.
Cafe.jpg

We had to wait for about ten to fifteen minutes and then we were seated. Tim kept making fun of me for making a reservation until we walked in and he saw how busy it was.
CafeInside.jpg

We were both a little cranky by the time we sat down and things kind of blew up into a fight, but we managed to work things out. So we had our first marital fight over stupid stuff. It was just kind of embarrassing because we started picking at each other at the table before I stormed outside, so his family knew what was going on. Oh well, it's not like we haven't seen all of them fight with each other a time or two!!

When we got back to the table, our food was there. I had a cherry Coke, fried chicken with mashed potatoes and southern greens (everything was delicious except the greens, which were disgusting!), and angel food cake with berries for dessert. (Sorry no pics except for the cake...I also only remembered the food porn after I had already started eating!)
Cake.jpg

I was a little nervous about leaving greens on my plate, because the gimmick behind the place is the waitresses treat you like their kids and yell at you if you put your elbows on the table or don’t eat your vegetables. (Ours was REALLY into it and yelled at us for everything!) However, when BIL went to the bathroom, DH dumped my greens on his plate (he didn’t eat his either) and we all laughed about it. The waitress nearly ripped his head off! lol The food was pretty good, especially the chicken, which was juicy and delicious. I would go back again for sure. I really liked the atmosphere.

After dinner, Timmy, Robby and I headed back towards the resort. On the way out of the park we stopped at this really neat Antiques and Curios shop which had all kinds of signed memorabilia from different movies. They had the pastel jacket that Dick VanDyke wore in Mary Poppins that was for sale for $65,000!!!!!! (I know that's not how you spell his name, but the program thinks the last half of his last name is a bad word and is editing it out!) haha
Jacket.jpg

I just got a print of Cinderella’s Castle done by Thomas Kinkade, and a poster of Pooh’s Garden. It has Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, and Piglet in the middle of a beautiful garden. It came in this really big tube, so I had it shipped home for $10.
We finally made it to the bus stop and had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a bus. This bus just went to Port Orleans, so it had to pass through the French Quarter and Riverside. Instead of stopping at French Quarter first, where he had to literally drive right past the bus stop to get to the other half of the resort, we went to all four stops at the Riverside area. It added about ten minutes onto the bus ride!

When we got back to the hotel, we all went into the pool. The water was nice and warm and it was relaxing. They have a cool water slide that we went down a couple of times. After the pool, we went back to our rooms and I ate some wedding cake (Can't ever have too much cake!) and BIL came over and watched TV with us for a little while before it was bedtime.

My poor demolished cake

I didn't realize what the 50's primetime thing was about when we ate there. I didn't understand why everyone was yelling at us!!

haha awwww, you must have thought they were the meanest waitresses ever!!!! :lmao:

Another great update Liz! Keep them coming! Your husband cracks me up. He seems to be a very funny guy.
