Thursday, 7/3/08 - Magic Kingdom & Cinderella's Royal Table
On Thursday we met up with my aunt, who was the only guest on my side for the wedding, and headed off to Magic Kingdom. To me, that's the place that gives me that special magical Disney feeling inside and I was excited to go!
My aunt and I on the bus to Magic Kingdom
By the Crystal Palace - the ducks on the right were my first duck sighting in FL! Ducks are my FAVORITE!!!!! and I was so excited to see them!
We rode on the Transit Authority ride and Carousel of Progress first
(There's a great big beautiful tomorrow......!).
Riding on the Transit Authority...wheeeee!
It was kind of hard keeping everyone together and actually getting to go on rides since everyone was hemming and hawing so much about everything, so we wound up splitting up for part of the day. We had a quick lunch at some big cafeteria-type place in Tomorrowland that I can't remember the name of. We had to go back to the hotel around 2:00, so I would be there when Carolyn Allens came to drop off my dress and steam the rest of the wedding clothes.
Duckies chowing down at the bus stop
DH's brother hanging out and chatting with the ducks
Carolyn Allen's came right at 3:00 and were done steaming my dress, MOH's dress, MIL's dress, FIL's suit, and the three guys' suits by 4:00. They did a wonderful job!
Here they are hard at work (and yes that is Full House on the t.v. in the background!)
At night, we all went for dinner at Cinderellas Royal Table! It was the best! We all got our picture taken with Cinderella and then waited to go upstairs to eat.
The room was fairly small and intimate
it only held about 180 people. Two of the mice from the movie were dancing around and the Fairy Godmother came out too and they did a little show.
The Fairy Godmother wished us good luck on our marriage and was really excited that we were getting married in the morning! To eat, we started with this amazing pretzel bread and butter (it was soooo yummy!)
Then, I had corn and clam chowder with sour cream in it. It was creamy with just a kick of spice. It was delicious! I am getting hungry for it just looking at the picture!
Then, I had prime rib, which was cooked to perfection. (Sorry, this is where I started forgetting to take food porn pics.) For dessert I had some kind of chocolate cake thing. Aunt Jackie had raspberry sorbet which I thought was better than my dessert. The flavor was amazing!
After dinner DH was fooling around on the stage that Mickey performs on in front of the castle (I can't believe he didn't get in trouble!)
The Auntie and I again
Then we went on the new and improved Haunted Mansion (did anyone notice the hidden Donald on the back of the chair that's by the candlestick that looks like it's down a hallway??? So cool!) As we came out, Wishes started and we watched it over by Small World, then quick jumped on the ride when there was still no line (it looks so much better now that they refurbished it!)
We were all pooped by this time, so we headed back to rest up for the BIG DAY tomorrow! DH slept in his brothers' room (he was sooo unhappy about this...he didn't want to be separated from me. I felt bad, but it was a tradition I really wanted to uphold.) MOH slept in my room and we stayed up talking until 1:30. She gave me a beautiful scrapbook documenting my bridal shower!

We had to get up at 5:30 to get ready for the wedding, so needless to say, we didn't get much sleep!
Up next: The wedding day!!!
