I'm not a member of Sam's Club (we don't have one even remotely near us) so I'm not sure if this is a good deal or not but Living Social is offering a 1 year membership plus a $20 GC and food credits for $45. The deal is good for one more day. I know a lot of people like them so I thought I'd share.

The above should not be a referral link as I didn't buy the deal. Like I said there isn't one near us plus I have a BJs Corporate Membership so no point in buying.

Thanks OP! Our Sam's club expired in January, so we've been meaning to re-up for a while. Since our last account was in the DH's name, I went ahead and joined under this deal. SWEET!!!!

Much appreciate your sharing this!!

I signed up for this yesterday, but LivingSocial says $20 Sams gift card and $19.84 in food credits, not $20 gc and $45 food credits. Unless I am missing something.

For those who are on a spouses acct. watch out it says that it has to be for someone you does not have an acct. So I am not sure that if you are on a Spouses acct they will consider you a "new" member. Something you might want to look into.

•Valid for new Sam's Club Members only
•New Member is defined as someone who does not have a currently valid membership
•Voucher valid for one-year Membership, $20 Sam's Club gift card, and $19.84 worth of foodservice vouchers
•Foodservice vouchers include one Artisan Fresh Rotisserie Chicken; two boxes of 6, 12, or 24 ct. Artisan Fresh Cookies; and one 16" Artisan Fresh Take N’ Bake Pizza
•Gift Card cannot be used toward Membership fees
•Offer is not valid for renewals
•Not valid to redeem until 3/7/13 at your local Sam's Club location
•Offer valid for Sam's Club purchases only
•Membership expires one year from the date the voucher is activated
•Vouchers valid only at participating locations found here: www3.samsclub.com/clublocator

Good point Shelly.

We haven't had a Sam's club membership in over a year, possibly two. So we do qualify.

I see the Kissimmee Sam's is on the list too and we found that helpful when we were in Orlando and staying off site.

We have a membership that expires in April. If I buy it now, can I wait until say May to activate it? Or will they still consider me a current member.

It says the promotional value expires on June 18, 2013 so you have until then to activate your new membership. I think I might go ahead and buy it and wait until my Mom's membership expires to activate it. We share an account.

I have Costco but Sam's Club is so much closer to me. Do they have organic meats, fruits, veggies etc? I love Costco for carrying a lot of organic products. However, I would be willing to try out Sam's Club if they did too.

That's what it is, I think the way the op stated it was just a little confusing, she didn't specify the amt. of the food credits.

Make sure your local Sam are accepting this deal. I have known in the past not all chains accept living social coupons
