Living Seas Help

We are going to get married at Disney in Aug. 2006. Not sure of the date yet but we are researching reception sites.

Does anybody know if there is an area outside of Living Seas that smokers can go to? I don't smoke but I know alot of people in our party may need to.

Our other choice is Ariel's at the Beach Club. I know that the guests could go outside to smoke there.

I am sure I will be having alot of questions with the planning and I am so glad that there are many people here to help.

We had our site visit in May and our SM said that it people would have to smoke outside the Living Seas. This is a little bit of a nightmare as you have to come out of the V.I.P. Lounge, down in the elevator and outside. But the Living Seas is such a great location that we are still going to go for it. Ariels would be a little easier as i believe smokers can just walk out the doors to the outside to smoke.

Thanks for your help. I really want to keep it at Living Seas but I was concerned about that. I know my mom would kill me if she couldn't smoke.

We are going down in Nov for vacation so I am hoping to schedule a site visit to see it in person...; I am so excited!!!

Last year, I went to a business related dinner at the living seas VIP area.. and a dessert party afterwards.

Honestly, not a big deal for smokers to step outside... the Living Seas area is such a unique location - they won't mind!

Our guests had no trouble taking the elevator down and stepping outside to smoke. The door (if I remember correctly) is around the bend past the entrance to Coral Reef. There weren't many park guests that got around back there. I love this site, it is truly beautiful and very different.
