I'm considering to get an annual pass, but would like the sweet deal of FL residents. I have a FL address, but would I be able to get a FL resident deal? Will they actually check ID because in the guideline, it mentions that I have to have a valid FL/GA ID. Thanks!

Also, my friend saw in a tv commercial that there is a $20/month annual pass in US, has anyone seen it?

Sure...if you live in FL and plan to go more than twice a year you should get an AP. I would go ahead and get your FL driver's license mainly because of Disney...if you want to get an AP there too. You must have FL ID for Disney to give you the FL resident rate...no exceptions. Universal isn't that strict but will check the ID the first time when you purchase the pass but after that...you're good.

You can get a FL resident Preferred AP for $219.99 or $16.30/month on the website...it's well worth it to save parking fees alone!

Have they extended the FL benefits to Georgia residents again? I didn't see that last time I looked.

I'm currently a cast member at Disney, so I don't think I will need a Disney AP just yet. ;) However, as with everything, I want something new and refreshing, not just Disney all the time. I won't be here for long though mainly because I'm a seasonal cast member and will be flying back soon, that's why I don't know if I can get the FL residency rate.

Gotcha...where is your driver's license issued? That should decide on if you can get the FL resident rate. It wouldn't matter if you're leaving soon as long as you can activate the AP while you're living here.
