we leave Sept 24th I can not wait not soon enough!!! So we are coming at the end of the month. When are you leaving to go camping?

Michelle, we are camping the week before you are here. We would love to meet up with you so the girls can meet while you are here. I should be working Monday and Tuesday, so we could meet you in the park Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Do your girls know about the cruise yet? I love all the outfits you make for the girls, very impressed.

Hi everyone!

We had a dummy date for 12/1, and we moved the cruise out to fall break. My only requirement is that it went to Castaway Cay (since our MR trip did not). It was a total bonus that it is on the Fantasy!!! I think it will be better anyway, because less kids get fall break so it won't be as packed to the max... (it probably still will be - who am I kidding?)

We're in an inside this time, 2519. We've done a Verandah on our first, then an oceanview, and now we're excited to get the magical porthole.

I just skimmed through the posts - I can't believe there are so many already! I love the custom outfits - we're custom crazy, too! It makes the trip so much fun!

Wendy < - that's me I'm 32, but I'll be 34 when we cruise (BOO!) My birthday is Friday
Mark - DH, same age. We've been married 10 years, just celebrating 11 by cruise time. He's the best DH in the world.
Kennedy - just turned 8, so she will be newly-9 on the cruise. She's a ton of fun and will love to hear there are kids near her age!
Peyton - our little souvenir She's 9 months now. This will be her 2nd DCL cruise. Her first was at 3 months - I saw that we have a family that will have a new baby on the ship... trust me, it's way easier than I thought it would be. A 21 month old on a cruise... someone pray for me! LOL

I can't wait to catch up on all the posts!

I'm going to start brain storming for the FE!

Welcome Wendy!! So glad you are joining us!! My youngest DD will be 8 3/4 Ok but really she will. She will be happy to hear there is another girl her age. I see you are gonna be at the World in 23 days! Me too!! Actually I will be there in 18 but will still be there. Where are you staying?? Me--POP!! We are gooing as a group of 12!
I too love custom outfits. I actually just learned to sew back in March. then I had to put it all aside cause I work in the summer alot of hours, but now I am down to 2 nights a week and then once November comes I will be back to my normal schedule...stay at home mom. So I have a few projects in mind. I have some fabric I may use to make tops for dinner for international night at Animators if they still have it by then. It is flag fabric that kinda reminds me of the servers vests on that nt in that restaurant. Also maybe a FE project...who knows!! Well off to finish the last top for this trip!!

OH BTW for everyone....I updated the web page and added all the new comers. Some of you didn't provide stateroom #'s, DH's names, etc......if you would like us to know that info please PM me. Otherwise...no stateroom #....no FE...LOL TTFN

We're in Coronado Springs 9/29-10/8!!! We have friends that are staying 9/29-10/6 at Pop.

I'm so excited! I've been making notes in my trip binder all afternoon. Plus buying some crafting stuff online for some accessories.

I am hoping for big hoopla on 10/1 at MK for the 40th anniversary. I plan to be there at rope drop. Will you be at MK that day?

We've done MNSSHP and I feel like a Disney traitor even considering it... but I'm thinking that as cool as it is, I don't know if we need to do it again this year (this would make the like 5th time?) Have you done it, and if so, are you repeating? I love it, I really do, but I don't enjoy all the sitting and waiting... I dread even thinking about the 4 hour sit on the pavement... maybe I could incorporate a cushy chair into my costume, lol!

Great Idea Lori!! Ok so since I had a brainfart and forgot about the girls being homeschooled...that makes meeting up even easier!! We can meet at a park....maybe well who knows or have a pool day!! Depending on what happens with these crazy tropical storms!

Wendy---yes of course I will be in MK on the 1st....where else does a Disneyaholic go!!! That day we will go see RD just in case there is something special done at it, then we have ressie's at Ohana's at I think 9:20 for breakfast and will hop on the monorail to head to Poly from MK RD. Then we will head back for the celebration my 2nd place favorite place on earth.(First being DCL)
As for MNSSHP----we have done it like 4 times and MVMCP like 3. We like it cause there are NO LINES...just waiting for pics with special characters. Is that what you mean by sitting on concrete??? We are going the 27th. Our whole group are gonna be pirates. We made the girls black cami's with rhinestone skull and crossbones, biker shorts and skull black and red tutu(short tutu--hence the biker shorts) They will have all the accessories and then I will do their makeup like Pirate League. Syd is in dance competition and honestly what MK does for PL is nothing different from what I have done for Syd for competition. Too much to pay for makeup and a parade we would probably miss. Us Moms are wearing the skull cami's too. We are trying to go in something cool thinking it maybe quite warm. Is our vacation here yet??? Well I better get folding laundry here. YUCK!!

Actually we camp out for a great fireworks seat, and then continue in that spot for primo parade positioning... I guess, since we've been there done that we probably don't need the best seats, and could still enjoy it without being up close. We could especially enjoy the rest of the stuff from that night.

My favorite part of the whole night is the gravediggers! I am an absolute nut for Haunted Mansion. When I grow up, I want to run the Jungle Cruise by day and the Haunted Mansion by night

Lori, I'm so jealous that you are a CM!!!! I wanna be a CM! Too bad I live in KY. I'd totally move if they ever hired me to one of the positions I applied for!

Hi! Our DD will be when we sail. She turns 7 next week so they are sort of the ame age. I am hoping to get Abby connected with kids her age so that she has a friend off the bat. She is the kind of kid who won't want to go in the kid's club the first day but you will have to pry her out of it the last. If she has a buddy then she will be in great shape off the bat.

Nelia is the same way. She'll be 8 3/4..LOL when we go. She is excited about the club but also is the girl that will have anxiety about where I am and worrying. She has gone before but like 2x's in a 7 nt cruise So I am hoping that she will be so excited that there are alot of girls her age going.

Sydney(12 1/2 at cruise time) will be over joyed that she can go whenever, not have to be checked in and that (if like the Dream) the tween dance floor lights up, there are plenty of laptops, and well you know all that tween junk!!

First I must get through this vacation in 15 days. And to make my 15 days a joy---my #7 tooth broke in half this morning. #7 is the tooth right next to your big ones...yep that's right..one that is right in front that you can see!!! The dentist can't get me in till Tues, and I have to work this weekend!! I asked if they would call me ASAP if they have a cancellation! Oh the joy! Please just keep me in your prayers that I get in soon so I don't have to look like a fool!!

Hi! My DW Judy (newflyer) and I will be joining you next September. We were booked on the 5-day Magic cruise out of NY, but I really wanted to try the Fantasy and the dates worked out better for us. This will be our 7th Disney cruise and 11th cruise overall. We're in a category 5C cabin on deck 7. Can't wait for next year.

We've been to Grand Cayman once and Cozumel twice. On Grand Cayman, which was back in 2003, we went swimming with stingrays using Captain Marvin (not a DCL excursion). We were on Cozumel last fall on a Carnival cruise and spent a delightful day at Paradise beach, which we probably will repeat next year. Costa Maya is the only new port to me, so I have my work cut out for me. And I have to catch up with the changes to Castaway Cay.

We have a special treat in store as we will be seeing friends from Scotland, who we met on a Magic cruise in 2003 and kept up with ever since. They are currently on the Dream for a B2B and we will have lunch with them when they disembark.

Hey all!! We just got off the Magic on the 10/8 Eastern Cruise and rebooked onboard for this one! We are so excited!!! This will be our third Disney cruise and cannot WAIT to see Disney's newest ship!!! YAY!!!! Anyway, it will be me- Heather (28) DH- Jason (34), DS- Justin (8) and DS- JOshua (6) we have late dining and will be in room 7162 and would LOVE to participate in our 3rd FE!! We cant wait to start really planning and having more time to plan. We will be staying the night before the cruise at BLT and doing MNSSHP and then doing 8 days at WDW at AKL Kidani Village (our DVC home) after this cruise. We look forward to enjoying this thread for the next 348 days

Welcome aboard!!!! I will add you to our website and FE list sometime this week. I am a little preoccupied with the fact I just booked an MR cruise for Jan 15th as a Xmas present to our kids. We got an AWESOME price due to kids free!!!! So I can say that after this Fantasy cruise we will be GOLD!!!!! Yeah something to look forward to!!
