I am planning to wear several sleeveless shirts in the dining room. I think maybe there is a difference between sleeveless and a tank top. When I hear "no tank tops," I think it refers to things like "wife beaters" and standard ribbed tops, simple tops like the kind with the built in bra, etc. I think a nice shirt with a pretty design is fine whether your shoulders are covered or not. Figure most formal and semiformal dresses will be strapless, spaghetti or sleeveless, so bare shoulders must be ok.

Noniepaddie, thank you for keeping the list so up to date! I packed up my FE gifts last night and am so excited to see what everyone else has come up with!

I think those are more than fine. A lot of dresses are sleeveless. I think they mean more men in tanks or casual tank tops.

I am bringing sleeveless shirts for the dining room, too. They are nice, but I'm trying to use them to shrink the packing size, since I can wear them day and night with a nice skirt. I have a shrug that I usually wear with them, because it is chilly in there!

It also says no shorts and there are always men in shorts. Personally, I don't have a problem with that as long as they are nice shorts that are accompanied with a nice shirt. Your shirts sound perfectly acceptable!!

I always get a kick out of the dress code wars here. Would I wear shorts to dinner? No? But I'm on vacation and I have better things to do than judge what other people are wearing (okay, maybe I make mental judgments, but I don't lose sleep over it )

We're pretty much all packed, except for some last minute stuff. Had to get it done before the holiday tonight.

I'm not saying that Disney goes by my school rules, but surely they came up with that definition some where - it may be some universal definition.

I just wish that they were consistent and specific. If it's no shorts, then no shorts... If its no tank tops, then define it, since that is sort of a generic name that we give to shirts without sleeves. The entitlement of those who think that they can get away with whatever they want because they "paid for this vacation" is what really gets me mentally judging.

We enjoy dressing up for dinner!

WHAT!?! No way! That sounds like it may be a Cast Member dress regulation but NOT a passenger dress code.

I have dressy-glittery flip-flops that I plan on wearing to Remy.
