Ok so I am in a bit of a panic but I think we are okay and just need your input. This morning I started getting a few things ready for the cruise and took a look at my kiddos passports and guess what they expire April 2 and 3, 2013 which misses the 6 month cut off by 2-3 days. They can still travel on their birth certificates right? I will be getting their passports renewed as soon as we get back. Reassure me we are okay.

You had me freaked out too! My son's passport expires in February, I think. I just went to travel.state.gov and clicked on International Travel. The countries we are going to do not mention the 6 month rule in the list of entry/exit requirements, so I think we should be ok. Other countries that do have the rule mentioned it in that section. So I am going to try to dig up his birth certificate just in case, but I think we will be ok with just the passport, since it IS valid now and shouldn't need to be valid six months from now. Phew!


We have some celebrations coming up too, though we didn't list it in our reservation. The week after the cruise will be our 9th wedding anniversary and our daughter turns 2 at the end of October. I didn't put it on our reservation though since neither event actually happens while we're on board.

Congrats to magicimaginear and your wife on the pregnancy!! Such exciting news.

I think we have enough FE gifts for everyone on noniepaddie's list as of today. I'm starting to pack and finalize though, so I definitely won't be able to include anyone who tries to sneak in during the final week.

For those who are worried about what documents are needed for travel, I was told by Disney Cruise Line representative on the phone that we do not need passports, all we need is a goverment issued id and an original birth certificate, no copies. For children all we need is their original birth certificate.

Oh no. My moms passport expires in march 2013. Should I tell her she needs to go find her birth certificate? I had no idea when it expired until yesterday and that you couldn't use it during that period.

If you have done your online check in and it didn't say anything you're probably okay. Doesn't hurt to have birth certificate with you just in case.

Nothing showed up wrong with online check in. Had the TA call DCL to double check and was told as long as it won't expire before we return we are fine since she is from US and this isn't an international cruise. The 6 month rule doesn't apply in this situation.

Okay I totally messed up on my FE gifts and need your help. When I read G 0-3 and B 0-3 I was thinking 0 to 3 months don't ask me why I'm still not sure AHHHHH

So after hours or making the gifts for that age I realized my error and that its 0 to 3 years.

Could the following people please post their child's exact age PLEASE I have to make new gifts tomorrow if I am going to get them done because time is running out
