I have to Take DS to Liverpool next week to swim at a senior event, the last time I was there was at least 18 years ago. I am not bringing the car, as we got a really cheap train deal, we are staying at the Staybridge suites, thought this looked really nice and was quite reasonable, and we need to get to Picton Street for the swimming pool, we are planning on using the buses and have found the route and number but can't find out how much a ticket would cost other than a saveaway ticket, are these easy to get! Can anyone help with answers to the following can you buy them on the bus or do you need to get them before you travel and where from, and how much would a single journey cost if we just got on the bus. THANXS

Hi,

Have travelled to Liverpool zillions of times but usually to a certain football ground and by car ;)

However, MerseyTravel are usually very helpful, if you check out the 'contact us' part of the site their offices are in Hatton Street so you could give them a ring for advice.
