Isn't anything pumpkin great? I make pumpkin cheesecake every year around this time and I love it. I substitute a ginger snap crust for graham cracker and it is soooo yummy!

We have an ADR at Mama Melrose for our trip in March (Fantamic Package) and I was getting a bit worried as I have read some bad reviews
Looks like you just have to choose wisely

Still loving the reviews and pictures. WOW doesn't even describe it. Thank you for sharing your anniversary trip with ALL OF US. Another quick question. What kind of camera do you use? The pictures are great. I have a really really old p & s and really want to purchase a new camera before next week. Ha, like I'm going to have time to do that. I'm definitely jealous of your room accomodations but we'll survive at Pop. Wouldn't it be nice if the pixie gods shined down on us? Of course, I'm not holding my breath but a girl can always WISH, pray, hope, etc. etc. etc. Again, thanks for sharing!!!!!

The updates were worth the wait. I am really going to try and convince hubby to take us next year to see the lights and decorations. I am soo glad you are having a good time. The pics are great.

I really need to go back for the holiday stuff again sometime soon. I'm thinking maybe in 2011 I'll do an early November trip, so I can be there for the end of F&W and the start of MVMCP and the Osborne Lights, and hit two birds with one stone.

This time is the perfect time...right before Thanksgiving, it is super slow and quiet, the decor is out in full force!

I will say when we ate at MM in 06 we didnt like it at all...but last night we really loved it! The perfect dinner before viewing the lights!

I bought this camera on clearance from Kmart for $79...its a Kodak EasyShare V1003...it is a great camera and super easy to use and not that large. I see some people carrying tripods with them and these humongous cameras hanging from their necks, I am sure they get great pics too but I dont want to be dragging around all that stuff! I hope you have a wonderful vacation in WDW and make sure you do a food porn review so I can drool all over it!

Great reviews of the dessert party and pictures of MVMCP and the Osborne Lights---less than 3 weeks until I get to see them!

I had the dessert party booked, but if we went I would have had to cancel our dinner on Monday night at the Cali Grill to make it over in time/have room for all the goodies. So, I cancelled the party to try Cali Grill for the first time, hope it's yummy! If they decide to make it a regular event at the MK, maybe we'll give it a shot on another trip when we aren't trying out so many Signature dinners.

Loving your live reviews so far, can't wait to hear all about the rest and I hope you guys have a fantastic 3 more days of WDW at the Poly!

Great updates Nicki! I hope you enjoy Citrico's as much as we did last month, it's my new fave WDW restaurant. The gateau of crab appy is the single best dish I had all week long and the veal shank provided us all with a ton of laughs, it's real food "porn"....

That pasta shrimp dish looks yummy. I've always had the flatbread at MM and may have to try the pasta shrimp next visit. Mark and I have been talking...thinking just forgetting about our 3 nights AKL, Marco, 5 nights CSR and just coming in November to join you and Todd...it sounds more and more like something we'd enjoy. Although I don't know if he can handle us both taking pictures of our food.

I checked out GF this Sept, and yeah, it was disconcerting to see all the construction!
The dessert party looks amazing.

There is no place like WDW at Xmas time...I am so excited to go home and decorate my house to look all Disney Xmas ish!

Hey, how did you know that is exactly what I call him You are right about getting in late, sometimes it is much better than the anticipation! The construction at the GF is done, we were there tonight and the floors are finished! If you can get a trip in next year you should do it!
