My hubby just called and they have just landed on the runway at MCO on Southwest. - 3:45 pm Eastern

Will update as they get to various places.

FYI - Travelling with a gate-checked ECV, had correct luggage tags in advance.

They are stopping at Mears desk to purchase some Universal Transfers ahead of time.

Arrived at Mears desk to purchase Universal Transfers at 4:08pm.

Arrived at Magical Express Desk 4:19 pm

Directed to Bus and Boarded at 4:23 pm

Departed Airport 4:30 pm Eastern

The ECV was stored underneath the bus since DH can transfer.

Arrived at All-Star Sports at 5:15 pm after a stop at Pop Century.

So 1 1/2 hours from wheels down at the airport to arriving at the resort.

If you subtract the 15-20 minutes for the ECV handling and stopping at the Mears desk, it could have been just over an hour (but then again, don't know how long the bus was sitting before they boarded)

When did he get his luggage?

Don't know yet, they left for Epcot directly after checking in and dropping carryons in the room.

Hopefully the luggage will be in the room when they return later tonite.

We're using ME in October. I was wondering how long it would take us to get to All Star Sports from MCO.

THANK YOU for this post. I don't know that I could do an hour and a half from wheels down, to resort. Gotta get the luggage, make a potty stop, rent the car, etc etc etc.

All of their luggage was in their room when they arrived back from Epcot!

They had two rooms and all of the luggage was placed into one of the rooms, but they are right next door to each other, so no biggie.
