Live from the Polynesian (April 27 to May 6)...ALOOOOOHAAAA!

Could you please take a few pics of Boutiki...if you have the chance of course! I was interested in the Poly resort merchandise in particular...thank you so much :worship::flower3:

For Lunch/Dinner:
- Pulled Pork Sandwich with Asian Slaw
- Pork Nachoes
- Nesquick Chocolate Milk
- Sprite
- Pineapple/Vanilla Dole Whip

The pulled pork was on of my favorite Disney meals when we were there in March, LOL I ordered it 3 times! :rolleyes1

Today was full of eventful surprises, so without further ado, here is a summary.

We thought that it was going to be less busy today, and we were surprised when we got to Epcot. It was crowded! I mean there were no open spaces to walk. We only got on one ride, Spaceship Earth because Living with the Land was lined up to the counters at Sunshine Seasons. Oh my goodness. There was even a line to get out of the Land Pavilion.

But anyways, we had lunch at Sunshine Seasons and it was delicious. I had the Sweet and Sour Chicken. My parents had some kind of Italian Sandwich. We all thought that it was delicious, but it was very loud and crowded in there. No matter, we would definitely eat there again!!

Haha, I stepped in gum not once today, but twice. It's funny now but at the time it was not. There were a lot of school groups at Epcot today, and I don't think having Test Track closed helped the crowd level. I missed hearing the cars go by on Test Track, but I am sure the improvements will be fantastic!

We went to look at the Flower and Garden Festival, it was gorgeous as always. I'll have to upload pictures to this report when we get home. We went around World Showcase, and saw the Haiti pavilion part of the festival, the money you spend on food there and products will partially go to helping Haiti. My parents tried the Haitian coffee and my mom said it was fantastic!!!

After getting sunburned, and enjoying the heat we decided to leave Epcot at 2:45pm. We headed back to the hotel, had some dinner (Pulled Pork Sandwich and French Fries). Then we went over to Animal Kingdom Lodge to look around.

I have to say, I LOVE DISNEY WORLD! I could live here and never get tired of it. The feeling of being here kicked in today and oh my goodness I missed that feeling.

Hopefully tomorrow will be better for crowds.

:thumbsup2 Thank you sooooo much for the pics and live TR - glad you were happy with your room location and view - can't wait to to get there so I can see first hand the sun rise and gorgeous flowers at Epcot....:dance3:

Now I'm craving pulled pork sandwich - may have to get in the car and go to the local BBQ joint for a temporary fix before Tuesday.....::yes::

I'm excited to hear more!

One of the crowd calendars had EPCOT as "not recommended" because of PM EMH. Sounds like he had it right!

After reading this post, I went over to see what my most favorite Disney blogger had to say about this day. Looks as if we may have been looking at the same website! ;)

Not that I doubted him, but it's nice to be able to compare predictions with actual events.

Hi all and good morning!!

Today we are going to Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast. Then we are off to Hollywood Studios and Sci Fi Dine Inn for lunch. For dinner it's going to be the Cape May Cafe buffet.

I think it is safe to say that we are very busy today.

It sounds as thought you are having a blast. Can you take a picture of the construction going on at the GF...and also, do you know if the POLY has started checking ID's for admission to the pool. ? I know there was a rumor about that but I am not sure if it is actually happening. (Pool hoppers just annoy the you know what out of us.)

Have a great day !!!

I am LOVING your live review. I am having Disney withdrawal since we haven't been since August. Thanks for the updates...the Poly looks beautiful!!!! Enjoy the day!!!

Sounds like fun! I'd love to hear how you like Sci-Fi for lunch. That's what we're planning on day 1. Thought it would be a nice break from the sensory overload ;)

Hi everyone!

Alright, so this is going to be a report about our day (sadly day number 2.5). Ok, so remember how yesterday I said that the crowds at Epcot were really present and numerous? Well, today was a different story. While it is apparent that the crowd
level is not what it used to be in previous years, the crowd level today was lower. This was nice.

We were able to get on three rides:
- Studio Backlot Tour (5 minute wait)
- Tower of Terror (with a fastpass)
- Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular

Our lunch reservations were for 1210pm and we were seated right away. My parents each ordered a milkshake and onion rings and I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Potato Skins and a milkshake. For some reason I had something else in mind when I thought of Buffalo Chicken Potato Skins, but they were good.

We left the park around 2:45pm, so it was a good day.

Dinner was for 530pm and it was good, but as always a buffet = too much food!

Tomorrow it is Whispering Canyon Cafe, Magic Kingdom and Kona Cafe for lunch. I will take more pictures on Tuesday at DHS!
