Anybody suggest a good place to get lunch in Barcelona on embarkation day -near the port?

There is a commercial centre in the pleasure port looking to sea on the left of Christopher columbus's statue. You can eat there or in the Ramblas but the Ramblas is overpriced for my taste.

We were wondering if Ronald (from the Netherlands) is still a head server, Emmanuel (from the Phillipines) is a server and Anastacia (I think from Trinidad) is his assistant server. Are they still a team? We had them on the Magic's Holiday Cruise this past year and they were awesome. They said they thought they would be in Mediterranean.
We have requested them for our Mediterranean cruises.

Yep. He was our head server on the repo. Seemed like a very efficient guy.

A special note to this trip for those that will be cruising later on, and I think other trips as well, is to bring toilet paper. You will not find it on these side trips

I can think of many useful tips that I have learned from the DIS Board, but I guess that this would have to find itself near the top of the list!! (Somewhere around the shoe hanger for the back of the door!!!)

I would really like to know about the Rome on your own as well....we have the VIP tour booked, but I just wonder if I will get to see all that I want to, or if it will be run from one place to another with no time to stop..

I too am worried about the VIP tour wondering if you will just be so rushed and not really get to observe what you want. I am wondering if the on your own would be better so you could go at your own pace. Any suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated.
