I missed our DIS meet.
Other than that-its going wonderfully. Our stateroom host, Erwin, is taking good care of us. Our serving team-Vlado and Okim are very attentive and kind.

The sail-away party was a blast! Awesome weather and alot of fun!

We were told that "8 Below" is Prem-EAR-ing onboard on Tuesday!

We saw 8 Below last night, the movie was Good & Sad at the same time..

I'm curious to know if you take the David and Ivan tour of the ruins on Costa Maya, if you have enough time to do some shopping after and still get to the ship ontime??? I would think so as Disney has some 6 hr. excursions set up. Ours is only 4 hrs. Just wondering...

Thanks so much for your good wishes. As far as excursions go, next week is the Western Caribbean, so I really can't help with that. So far, the seas have been calm. Once in a while, you feel the rocking, but my Dramamine works just fine. Tonight was formal night and the Golden Mickeys. Great show-don't miss it!

Also tonight we were in Animators Palate. I've seen this show 4 times before, but this time it blew me away. Great job by all. I'm not giving away the changes-you'll love it!

DD8 and I spent most of the day on deck 9. The pools, hot tubs and Quarter Masters-the arcade. Noshing on this and that-pizza, chicken tenders, french fries, ice cream LOL-they're gonna have to roll me off the ship!!!

Enjoy "8 Below"...excellent movie (we own a Siberian Husky so we are parchal to them).....we saw it today when it was 8 above here..BBRRRRR day...enjoy the warm weather......we are soooo jealous!!!

Hi all-the weather continues to shine! It has been beautiful!

As far as excursions, on St Maarten/St Martin, we did the Afternoon Beach Bash which took us to the French side of the island to Orient Bay beach. Lovely beach, great waves but way too much harrassment from the locals. Hairbraiding, shawls, necklaces, t shirts-they have it all. I did buy a few things and everthing was negotiable. There was some nudity-but no big deal. If my DH hadn't pointed it out-I wouldn't have noticed. None of the kids around me notice it either.

One funny story. The first person we saw nude was a much older man-about 80-walking along the shore. A scary site. I turn to DH and say "See, none of the beautiful people are nude. Just the ugly ones." Ok, ten minutes later, a gorgeous 20-something walks by in nothing but a sarong on her hips. I thought my DH would die! He says "I'm so glad you're wrong". LOL

I had a better time on St Thomas. Magens Bay Beach Break-an awesome excursion! First and foremost-its beautiful-no waves though. I like waves. But the beach itself is lovely. And it was nice to not about DD 8 getting knocked about by the waves. No harrassment here. Just one offer of hairbraiding and that was it.

Right now, DD8 Tess is recovering from a sunburn in our room, DS16 only came in at 5 am and DH is recovering from a long day of golf at Mahagony Run.

I am really enjoying this cruise. DD has had some freedom, thereby freeing me up and I have actually relaxed a few times.

I'll be back.

I hope you were able to dock at CC today and had a BLAST!!! If so, did you happen to spy any eye glasses on the bottom of the ocean? LOL!!!

Did the Castaway Club members get a coupon book with their gift? The group who cruised over Valentine's day did, and we're trying to figure out if it was just a special "Valentine" or a permanent part of the CC gift. We've got our fingers crossed.
