Live From the Disneyland Resort

Greetings everyone from the Disneyland Resort in sunny California. I just arrived yesterday...weather was cool, mid 60's but today is alot warmer (Shorts and TShirt weather). Im just on my way to Disneyland for the afternoon. I will post some pictures and more details soon....!!

Castle is half under blue tarps...when I go to the park in like 15 min I will post back and let you know whats going on

That stinks for the people that are showing up for the first time (or the first time in a long time) if they don't check around beforehand on what's going on (or NOT going on) at the park. I would hate to be surprised by the castle looking like that. Hooray for obsessive planning!

Not that they're aren't going to have a great time anyway, but still.

heh, DIsneyland keeps changing that... it used to be Sat/Sun Fireworks... probably is Fri/Sat Fireworks...

As of today....Monorail was down (Just for the day). Splash mountain is closed until May...California Screamin was closed (Just for the day). Dumbo is closed for refurb and the castle is under tarps... Weather is about 68 as of 3pm.

I'm just off to the park to go on some rides....

AS of 11am today the longest wait was 10 min (Space mountain).

Thanks for sharing the pic of the castle! Never seen it like that before. What changes are being done to it? I hope you are having a great trip. I wish was at DL right now.....I'm currently stuck in jury duty and have been here all day.... =P

Word of warning: Those tarps better be off that castle in April when I visit. Its bad enough that Splash Mountain is going to be down for maintainance. Last year was our first visit and PoC was closed. Now the castle? Please, OP, go to City Hall and put in that request for me.

What are they doing to it??

Thanks for the update on the ride times. We leave on the 30th so I am definitely interested in the wait times during the day. Did you notice a difference over the weekend with the NAMM convention? Just curious, it was posted on several boards and was supposed to draw the crowds.
