Hi Campers!!! How was your week? 
Well, I must say it was a pretty interesting one here at The DIS Institute Of Chat, NyQuil, Buffet, and Television Studies. . . although technically, we weren't actually there. . . As mentioned last week, we have taken our show on the road and set up a temporary research center pool-side here at the lovely Wyndham Palace Resort & Spa, where despite the obvious lack of sophisticated equipment, we've still managed to continue our work, thanks to dedication, a sense of duty, professionalism, and the efficient service of Manuelo the bartender, who keeps us well supplied with Rum Runners from the Tiki Bar. . .
. . 
Of course I didn't expect our stay to be this long, especially after last weeks little "race car" incident. .
. After Marla "accidently" commandeered one of the Richard Petty stock cars and terrorized the entire complex, causing mass hysteria and severe trauma to not only untold tourists, but also poor Chip and/or Dale, I was sure the good folks at Disney would hunt us down like dogs and make us work the carnival booths in Dinoland as indentured servants the rest of our days. . . 
And when we were both taken into custody immediately following last weeks chat by several large and menacing CM's, I had flashbacks of vicious Dwarf beatings and was sure we'd never see scenic Bald Knob again. .
To be sure, things did not look good for your humble chat hosts as we were brought before a tribunal of Disney executives and tortured with "fan-misters" and Barney songs until we broke down and confessed. . . 
But just when it looked like there was no hope, WebMaster Alex arrived to save the day!!!!
He'd had flown straight from his weekend party, and dressed in a wrinkled Pilgrims outfit and reeking of Sam Adams Lager, he argued for our release and threatened to show them the infamous "pool" photos of Glo . . .
His presence was so disturbing, they quickly voted to drop all charges as long we left the premises and promised never to let Marla get behind the wheel of a car within 100 miles of Disney property again. . . . 
Of course after such a trying ordeal, we were much too tired to make the trip back to Bald Knob, so we extended our stay at the lovely Wyndham Palace Resort & Spa and have spent the rest of the week working and reflecting on our lives, and watching cable television at the tiki bar in the soothing atmosphere of Manuelo and his various blenders and miniature umbrellas. . . . .
Any-whooooo. . . as long as we're here, we've decided to take advantage of one of the best amenities this luxery hotel has to offer. . . so tonight, we are proud to anounce that Disney After Dark will be coming live from Downtown Disney's Wyndham Resort where we'll be star-gazing and whooping it up at the fantastic Arthur's 27!!!
That's right kids, this elegant yet exorbitantly priced dining room sits atop the Wyndham Palace on the (surprise!) 27th floor, and offers diners a stunning view of the entire WDW area along with a faux-gourmet meal, snotty waiters, and a very impressive wine list!! We'll eat like champions, drink like Shriners, then enjoy watching both the fireworks at MK and the laser show at Epcot. . . 
So come on by and join the fun!! As always, the food, drink and fun are on the house, and everyone is invited. . . so fire up your computer, and join your chat hosts Marla and WillyJ. this Saturday night in the Main Chat Lobby at 9PM EST. It's a lot of fun, and a great opportunity to hang out with your fellow DIS'ers and get to know each other better in a relaxed, informal Atmosphere. As always, general Disney or Universal questions are encouraged and appreciated, and there will be a room full of Orlando veterans there to help you out. . .
