I know my father who lives in Btfl. wants DSL...he says that it has been advertised for pretty cheap out there- but I don't know with who.
So you get DSL, then you go to best buy and get a router- don't buy one from the provider they will charge too much. It is easy to set up and I LOVE it. I have yahoo DSL through SBC (phone co)
You can also check AOL and your cable co.

Don't say the AOL word........blech.....fyi about buying the router at Best Buy.....yes, its $15 cheaper, BUT--it does NOT come wireless ready.....the one you get from Qwest, guessing that's who, comes wireless ready, you just turn it on, so if you really want the wireless, you need to buy it from Qwest, if that's who the provider is.....just fyi....since that's my job.....

Hi Everyone,

Anyone notice; we started the May PC transit in the early morning light at Gatun Locks, the August Dis'ers are completing their transit in the early evening darkness; the circle is complete.

Thanks to everyone who posted pics, it was great being able to catch up after getting called to the Crisis team meeting (no, it didn't have to be today, couldh've waited till tomorrow AM, but I didn't make the call!).

Didn't want to say anything earlier and jinx it, but we've been on dialup all day without a problem, both PC cams and this thread, I still can't believe it. Whe I had to go to the office I tried through our high speed line and couldn't get any of the cams to come up

This has been a great day reliving the May trip with all our friends from the May Repo and watching the Fools make their memories.
