I do know they had them set up, but dont know what they are..

Well at 5:45am we passed Cabo, Hurricane Hillary did not want us to visit the island and for the safety and security of the ship, crew members and guests we are heading away from the island. Yep that’s correct we have missed our first port. Tomorrow we will be going to Manzanillo instead. The mood on the ship is no longer exciting as many people are upset that our visit to Cabo is now cancelled. Also I know that some guests boarded the ship without their luggage and the luggage was being shipped to Cabo-I feel bad for those people! "

On the May repo cruise, the sailaway was delayed for up to an hour waiting for a white truck full of luggage that did arrive.

I'm sorry you missed Cabo but glad you are safe. I wonder if they will make a pin for Manzanillo and send it later.

Rachel just got back to the ship after being off all summer. I believe she got back on August 6th.

Entrance and exit of ships into the port. If you click on the link it is a detailed log of the ships that are entering and exiting Manzanillo as of 8:30 a.m. 8/23/05. If you click on the link it gives the time each ship has entered and the stats on the ship and then the time it leaves the port. I haven't found a live link though that shows the current ships in port, but I'll keep looking.

So Rachel...is she on the Magic for good now since she's back? We were on the Wonder back in '03, and she was our cruise director. We LOVED her! We were hoping that she would be on the Magic next month (9/17) for our Eastern! Sounds like chances are good!

Hey Everyone!

This is the first time I've had to check in. The last two days have not been very good for me. The hurricane was miserable and I was soooo sea sick. I'm glad the rest of my family wasn't affected. Now we are wondering if we should keep our 11 day cruise in September. Today we are in Manzanillo, you probably already heard all that has been going on.

If there are any questions you want me to try and answer, send me a pm so I don't have to go through all the posts.

We are having a great time now. We decided not to go off shore since we don't know what the heck we're doing

Bstsuda, WOW! I didn't expect Don to be on the ship right now. We have seen him on both of our cruises. We were in 7010 on the first & around the corner in 7503 on the last. The kids always had to go say hello to him. He is such a kind person! Did he happen to mention if he is a daddy yet? He just found out on the last day of our 12/4/04 cruise that they were expecting.

Don was our cabin steward and was awesome! His wife had the baby a few days after we boarded on 7/2. He was soooo excited.

I heard from my mom. She didn't like Manzanillo so they came back to the ship and enjoyed the pool. Her and my dad LOVED the waves, they said it was awesome. Tonight she said is Formal Night.

Rachel must have gotten on the August 6th sailing or before. Because she was our cruise director for that sailing and she was WONDERFUL.

WOW... I guess I am going to have to get DSL just to see this amazing video that everyone is talking about!! I tried downloading it with the dialup... after about 45 min it was only "8% complete buffering" whatever that is.. then it froze up on me! I just love dialup....
Sorry to hear that everyone had to miss Cabo..... I missed Cabo too... something to do with an incident in Mazatlan... Oh well...at least you get a FIRST......docking in Manzanillo!
