Live from OKW

Our cast for this trip is DH (Bigman!!), Me, DD, DS and GF. Landed at MCO at 11:30am and headed over to Magic Express check in! Check in went smooth and the wait for the bus was 5 minutes. We shared a bus with first stop Port Orleans French Quarter, second stop OKW, third stop Saratoga Springs and last stop Wilderness Camp Grounds. I was surprised at how many different stops they had for one bus. But lucky for us OKW was the second stop. We were at the resort by 1pm. Our room wasn't ready (we requested Miller's Road), just for the neighborhood pool, nice and quiet. But the cast member searched and found another room on Turtle Pond, but it backs up to the main road, so we passed on the other room and chose to wait. We sat by the feature pool, had a pina colada, yum!! and planned out what to do. DS, GF and I headed over to Downtown Disney, to transfer and get a car at Dolphin for one day to get shopping done. Within an hour, we received the text that the room was ready! We are in Building 18, second floor, corner room. I requested golf view, but we are a little obstructed by the trees. I hung my lights on the balcony, put out our bug candle and we settled in!! Well that's all for now, if you have any questions, let me know.

We leave on Wednesday Not sure if a bug candle is a necessity, but we like to sit out on the balcony at night and my DD is a bug freak She goes and sits by the pool with her off fan!!

Do you remember which building it was in Turtle Pond that you passed on? If it was buidong 40-good choice to pass! The noise from the busy road is so distracting that we really couldn't relax and enjoy the balcony. Besides, buiding 18 is wonderful.

Our family is coming down on Tuesday, curious to know about crowds and wait times. We are staying 3 night at SSR and 2 nights at OKW. Have a great trip.
