I'm bummed! We're leaving on Friday for BWV and I was looking forward to SAB

Boy, that was a lighting fast refurb. Did they do anything other than slap some paint on the rust on the lamp posts? We noticed some on the the latter during our last visit in 08/05.

Is the pool rehab complete or are they still working in certain areas of the pool? Also, is the pool slide open? Just wondering if it will only be open for a day or two and then close again for more work. If they are done, this is significantly ealier than anyone had mentioned.

We arrive on Monday, and would love to have the pool open instead of the trek to BC/YC.

The pool refurbishment is complete. The slide and everything else is in use. I did not bring my cable to upload pictures from my camera, but the pool area looks the same as always.

We just left this morning. No new pics because there isn't anything different. Just new paint etc.

You made my day with this post! We are checking in on 2/2 and thought we would have to hike over to BC. While we love that pool, we were really looking forward to trying out the boardwalk pool this time around, now it sounds like we can!
