Zegler said they were done with filming earlier this year and there's no indication right now that there will be reshoots. Both of Disney's March 2023 releases (the other coming from Pixar) were moved to 2025 today due to the ongoing actor strikes, which have hit other movies as well.
Like I said before if you want to go with the actors strike as the reason go for it. I'm going with they know they messed up with the magical creatures. They saw the brat talking all that nonsense and having all bad publicity. There was never cgi dwarves. It's going to be a lot of more money to make this film.

Dwarves are magical creatures. And Disney went the CGI route to make them look less like they're just human little people.
People are just oblivious and don't want to accept the truth. They were 100% magical creatures that looked awful. The brat didn't know when to shut her mouth. I still don't see the prince stalking her but that's just me. Why can't people just admit Disney messed up with the dwarves and casting of her. The brat was nowhere near spot on in fact she couldn't be more wrong. Like I said earlier I guarantee this garbage doesn't even ever come out and wait till they see how much cgi costs.
Of course but it seems obvious the CGI route was not their original intention. I mean blindingly obvious. They could have nipped this controversy in the butt months ago. No one could possibly believe that they has no CGI done prior to…now? With a movie that’s been in production well over a year, before the actors strike? The live action part was filmed in 2022. The strike began this summer of 2023. So does anyone believe that for some bizarre reason, in a major film production, there was no CGI done (like at all, enough to release one stinking image) before now? When live action filming wrapped up over a year ago? And now magically the film will be postponed a whole year? Ok.
Here's a long list of all the movies and TV shows that have been delayed as a result of the strike. In one case, a delay of a year even though the movie was finished and scheduled to be released earlier this month.
Typically you have to finish filming first, then add CGI, just like what James Cameron did with the Avatar cast. It's entirely possible that they didn't start the CGI part until this year.
That might be true, but even comparing Avatar 2 to Snow White (and I think we can all agree that the CGI production in Avatar far surpassed anything that will be done in Snow White), Avatar 2 was released 2 years after live action filming was completed. Snow White live action filming was completed in July 2022. And that would include any dwarf/magical creatures voiceover work if that did occur (because Martin klebba stated in July 2022 that “I just got done filming Snow White. It’s going to be coming out late next year. And, of course, I play Grumpy. Gal Gadot is our witch, and Rachel Zegler will be our Snow White. So, come on down, it’ll be a good time.” So I assume if he was voicing that character that all voice-over work would have been completed around the same time. So to think that CGI work didn’t start until this year(and after the actors strike as well) seems kind of unbelievable.
Well I love the soundtrack for the Greatest Showman. So I have to say that would be appealing to me.
