Ok...i know DJ added an update about Victoria & Albert's..so here's a pic of our menus...WITH my new last name!!

That was by far the BEST meal I've ever had...wow...there is not a single thing I would change about it. And if you ever go....order the coffee with dessert!!!! It is SO neat!!

Just have to throw this shot in...when we went to the DP at Epcot the CM held a long green flashing light to lead us to the Lower UK. My niece thought this was SO cool...so when we were headed back to the resort that night she took her glow necklace and held it up like a lead light...

First thanks to my wife for posting all the pictures that I failed to take. I always have my camera with me, yet I never seem to use it!

So this morning we decided to take advantage of monorail access to Epcot and spent the morning there. We got arrived around 9:30 and the park appeared to be empty. Did our typical FP for Soarin', and rode TT while we waited. I grabbed a couple shots while on TT...

About to 'crash' through the wall...

Perhaps a sign of the times at GM. Usually this center loop is filled with shiney new model cars they want to show off. As you can see, its empty....

There has been much talk here on the DIS about the lack of Christmas decorations this year. This is the hill to the left of the resort monorail at TTC. If memory serves correct, they usually have some sort of holiday set up here, but alas its empty. Its a small thing, but even the spinning Mickey topiary out front was missing his santa hat....

Sadly, it turns out we must cut our trip short. See, we dont have enough money for the remaining 4 nights because as you can see, my wife has a problem. I knew when I married her it was the case, but I thought she had the strength to stay away. Apparently, I was wrong....

It looks like you have had a great trip so far! I can't wait to hear more from Meg on the wedding In the meantime, thanks for all the other info on the trip; the steak at V&A's sounds heavenly. As a steak lover you have definitely sold me on eating there some day! The cottage at the GF looks amazing too, what a great place for the girls to hang out the night before the wedding. That is too bad about all the missing decorations all over the World; at least the main things are still present for you to enjoy.

It was interesting to hear your little GM note at the Test Track, I'm from Flint, MI the home of GM and it has definitely been a rollercoaster for everyone here the last few months!

So a brief update from yesterday afternoon and today...

We met up with some friends at the MK yesterday. Not sure who's genius idea it was to do so at 4pm, but here's a look at the crowd post parade....

Doesnt it make you want to jump up and head to the MK? Ok ok so that pic may have blown things a bit out of proportion, as here's the same area about 20 minutes later...

From there we headed to dinner at Liberty Tree which was great. I believe this is one of the last weekends of them having characters, so I was happy to get to see them one last time. This is my wife's favorite place to eat, so that was nice too. Its a nice combination we have, I'm the Narcoossee's guy, she's the Liberty Tree girl

Speaking of Narcoossee's, we decided to head there around 8:30 to have a drink and dessert at the bar. We could not believe how busy the place was. Usually we walk right in and grab a couple seats at the bar, but last night the place was slammed. Granted, it was a Saturday the week before Christmas, so its to be expected. But after waiting at the bar 10 minutes simply to get a wine list, we decided to head back to the room instead. Not before catching one last "Wishes" however.

I have another question for the folks at Team Disney. Its 2008 and you're the Walt Disney Company, surely we have moved beyond the Electrical Water Parade. I love old school Disney just as much as the next guy, but really is this the best we can still come up with? I have the creativity of a dead fish, but I think if given about 12 minutes I could come up with something better to entertain folks than this guy....

We checked out of GF this afternoon and headed over to BWV where we will be the next 3 nights in a 1 bedroom. We have always stayed in studios, and I think getting a 1-bedroom may have been a mistake because I have a feeling we may never stay in a studio again! This place is huge! Boy I had no idea what I was missing. I think I may have to call my DVC guide when I get home to add on some more points....

Well thats all for now folks. Headed to see the Osborne lights in a few. TTFN!

I am sooo glad you guys loved V&A!! That was the dinner we had the night we got engaged and we just had our wedding reception dinner there. We are hoping to have an anniversary dinner there any time we make it to Disney for one.

After checking out we headed over to MK for our first breakfast ADR..CRT!!

We decided to take a horse cart down Mainstreet USA..we've never done that before!!! It was so neat!!
