I have a great deal of trouble with my legs - arthritis, I broke my hip a couple of years ago, one leg is shorter than the other and now some circulation stuff (and now you all know more about me than my siblings do
)
Anyway, I was able to ride Space Mountain this trip, after some confusion over whether the ECV could go in or not (it couldn't, but the Greeter specifically let me, but then the CM at the top of the line said "not allowed", well, where was I going to go but that's an entirely different issue) but it took me a LONG time and some straining to get out of the car. Fine, great, no problem - even though it delayed that track. The Attraction Lead was aware of my situation.
That was the good. The bad? I had almost as much trouble getting out of Splash Mountain - more room to maneuver, but still trouble. To the point that everyone else was settled. one of the Guests waiting to get IN to the seat I was leaving said to the other, "Just kick her".
Now the sorta funny. I wanted to talk to a manager about log design (in this case, and remember I'm thinking of only myself, a completely flat edge instead of the well-themed curved "carved" edging - just that couple of extra inches of level surface - might make a difference). Anyway, while we were waiting for a Manager, I told the CM about the "kick" comment. He looked horrified!!!!! I had to rush and explain I was referring to a Guest, not another CM!!!
