Little People Big World *NEW EPISODES* SEASON 4 - 2009!!!!

Last nites episodes were really good again. LOL. Especially between Amy and Zac. Zac is finally getting more confortable in his interviews and he is finally getting more audio-able. His mumbling used to drive me crazy.

I like how the kids told Amy, "little person to the left":rotfl: Then they explained how awkward it is for them to meet anyone that is little. They don't know what to say. Amy broke the ice and found out the guy lived at Macinaw (sp?) Island for 45 years. Amy also thought she knew the guy, but couldn't place him.

A couple of years ago, someone said they were roomates with Amy in college. Last nites show she said she met Matt when she was 23 and married a year later. So I am assuming she graduated from college. Anyone remember?

Yes, she did!!! :teacher:

From Wiki!!!
Amy — 45-year-old (b. September 17, 1963 in Michigan) wife and mother; Amy is a stay-at-home mother, although she recently took part-time jobs as a soccer coach and preschool teacher to provide the family with additional income. Amy's type of dwarfism is achondroplasia, and she has experienced very few (if any) complications. Amy is a graduate of Central Michigan University.

I wonder if the boys are making plans for college. I haven't heard it mentioned lately and I know they graduated high school last year.

It was nice seeing Amy and the kids bond with her parents on the last episode. I hope in the future she can go see them more.

I found this blog on the internet. It appears to be lengthy but you can actually read what Amy and the boys said in reference to college.

Video of Amy, Zach and Jeremy Roloff speech in Metropolis from the summer
In July 2008, Amy Roloff gave a speech in Metropolis. Towards the end of the speech Zach, Jeremy, Molly and Jacob joined her on the stage and they answered questions from a the audience.

This is a 16 minute video taken of her speech. The quality is not the greatest, but it gives some insight about what a Roloff speaking engagement is like.

At the 13 minute mark of the video, Zach and Jeremy are asked about their plans for college. Zach and Jeremy both say they plan on going to college, but are unsure about where or exactly what they would like to take. During season 3 of the show, Zach was heard whispering to Molly that Jeremy did not plan on going to college, so Jeremy's answer that he is planning on going to college might surprise some. I don't doubt Jeremy's intention, but sitting on a stage beside his mother in front of hundreds of people is not the most ideal place to inform everyone that he doesn't want to go to college, even if that is what he was thinking.

Since this speech, Jeremy has re-iterated that he's looking forward to college after high school.

While I'm discussing college, I'll take this moment to clear up some more confusion. We receive hundreds of inquiries about what college Zach and Jeremy Roloff attend. They are currently seniors in High School. Many people are confused because most kids born in May (10th) of 1990 graduated from High School in June of 2008. The reason why Zach and Jeremy are a year older than most of their classmates is due to the fact that they did pre-school twice and started a year later than most kids. You might recall during the recent camping trip episode aired in October 2008, it was Zach and Jeremy's friend, Jacob Mueller's 17th birthday. Jeremy and Zach are 18. They are a year older than most high school seniors.

Wow, that clears a lot up.
We were wondering why they didn't have Zac and Jeremy's graduation or a graduation party. Just Molly's 8th grade graduation.
My dd graduated last year and she was watching the show too wondering where the graduation episode was.

I hate speculating, (since I am a big fan of Jon and Kate), but what the heck is going on that Matt isn't with the family half the time anymore.

Thank you! :thumbsup2

I just watched last nights episodes and I am SO disgusted with these people. The house is a mess yet again. I just can't believe how little personal property respect the family has.

I understand Amy has physical challenges but she is the first one to try anything and is always snorkeling, etc on their many trips, there is truly no reason why cleaning her house can't be accomplished.

They have a beautiful house, it is such a shame they are such slobs!

The funniest part is that Amy got a hotel/hospitality degree, has spoken about possibly running a B and B, and can't keep house worth a hoot! (She has said that her mother kept an immaculate house and she rebels against that to this day. Except... there's being a slob and then there's being catastrophically messy.)

Raise your hand if you took SATs in your Jr year (in order to leave one last chance to do better in fall of your Sr year.) Their high school doesn't seem very academically oriented. As best I can recall, most college applications are submitted by Thanksgiving, right? And they're sitting down in September and just starting to think about future college plans?

And for somebody who wants to be a teacher, Zach seems phenomenally uninterested in academics. He WILL end up working for Matt Roloff his entire life if he's not careful. But I suspect that's the plan with all the building... they're not expecting them to leave, and hope they don't.

My son took his ACT in April of his Senior Year and applied late to a college and got in. I was a lot like Amy and thought he was taking care of things. Did you see how she registered them on-line?
Both my girls did this with their guideance counselor.
Their school should be on top of this, though I think Amy said they took the SAT's in Sept. Labor Day was early this year and I think I heard her say, Sept. 7, which would be right, since my birthday was on a Friday, Sept. 6.

I don't care so much about how they keep their house, because I don't have to live in it. Some families focus their attention on other things and wait until it needs a good cleaning before they touch it. What amazes me though is that the kids (saw Zach do this last night) will eat something and just toss the wrapper on the floor. Molly did it with something too on a different episode and Matt had to ask her several times before she picked it up.

Anyone else see tonight's "Lost" episode about the 2007 pumpkin season? I remember watching it at the time, but tonight's episode showed a little more.

That Becky person would be missing some teeth if she ever spoke to my mother that way! AND IN FRONT OF THE PUBLIC!!!

Yes, Peg was supposed to stay in her spot as the greeter....but still... she's Matt's MOTHER, and you do not speak to your elders that way, no matter what!

You rarely see "Poppa" and "Honey" on the show anymore (ever since that episode first aired)....I've wondered if this is the reason why???

I agree, Becky was nasty. I understand that she was left in charge of running the farm, but to make Matt's mom cry, several times no less, was horrible. And the fact that she did it in front of customers was even worse. She admitted that she had to apologize to customers that said they couldn't believe she did that in front of them. It had to be bad. I hope Matt reprimanded her after he found out.

This season was such a hodgepodge year. It was filmed last year starting around this time. Matt went to Iraq, missed Mike's funeral and Molly's graduation. Then Amy took the kids for a month on vacation. Then it looked like they pretty much skipped the rest of summer and it was Fall and the kids started school. Now they skipped back into summer again with Jacob going to Space Camp and then they did the next show as the "Lost Episode".

So, is it still Fall, and did Jacob go during a Fall break?
My kids always wanted to go to Space Camp, and in the early 90's the camp cost over $650, I'm wondering how much is it today.

Now, to comment about Matt's parents, they were on a Christmas episode, when Amy invited all her family and Matt's. Or was it Thanksgiving?

Also they had a big "Open House" to thank everyone who worked on the house and Matt's parents were there too. But I agree, Becky was disrespectful to Honey. Becky wanted everyone to do the job they signed up for and she felt Honey wandered all over. But remember Molly got in trouble with Becky too when they first aired that episode. Molly wouldn't come out of the house and start working, and Becky got on her case too.

I live in Huntsville, AL where Space Camp is located. In yesterday's newspaper, it said the episode was filmed in July while Amy was in nearby Tuscumbia visiting Helen Keller's birthplace.

I did see it! I agree, that Becky woman is a witch!
I wouldn't want to work for her!!!!!

I only watch the "NEW" episodes. I have seen all the LP seasons and have my DVR set to record only the new shows. :happytv:

SPACE CAMP looked awesome. What kid would not want to go to Space Camp!!! What a lucky boy, Jacob was to be there.

I was laughing so hard at Amy when she realized her GPS was speaking German or whatever... :lmao:
I love Amy and all her touring whether with the kids or not...she is a sponge for knowledge. Both the Helen Keller and Rosa Parks museums were very interesting. :thumbsup2 I could NEVER sit in that 5 point chair at Space Camp and had that chair throw me all over the place....YIKES....:scared1:

Thank you for the info.

We were there in 1994 and toured the grounds with the kids. It was a nice way to spend the day. And we saw Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon, Gary Sinisee and Ron Howard. They were touring the grounds and they were looking at the space lab area. It was right before Apollo 13 came out. Our tour guide told us on the bus, "ya'll will never know, who you might just see here."

I take it Amy stayed in the area for the week.

Anyone know if they are doing another season?
