Is there a character meal that has Ariel?

I believe Akershus (sp?!) at Norway in Epcot does.

I was told Ariel doesn't have a character meal because she cant walk around because of her tail. Ariel's Grotto is the only place to meet her.

Ariel was the "greeter" princess at Akershus Princess Storybook Dining Lunch when we went in June 2006. She was in her green ballgown--no tail. When we went back for breakfast in Nov 2008, she was not one of the princesses there that day and Belle was the princess out front to take pictures with that day. From what I have heard and read, it is usually Belle that greets you/takes pictures with you when you first go inside, but sometimes it is Ariel. I don't think there is anyway to know which day will be which. The only for certain spot to find her is in Ariel's Grotto in Magic Kingdom...and when that line opens at 10:00 am, it gets very long, very fast...I suggest getting in line as soon as they start letting people cue up.

Ariel is occasionally at the Princess meals in Norway. We saw her for breakfast there once, but it sounds like that is rare. According to posts, she is more likely to be there at lunch or dinner. She wears her ballgown and this is the only place to meet her with her "sea legs".

Other than that - you can meet her, in her fin, in her grotto in MK.

We've seen her twice at Akershus (trips were also two years apart) but they vary the princesses that attend the meal.

And she was at lunch in Norway in her gown. My daughter was dressed as her as well. Belle was the princess who you got photographed with as you entered.

Ariel is at PBS (Akershaus-Norway) in her ballgown. They do not guarantee princesses, but the CM told me she is usually there for lunch and dinner.

Add us to the list who saw her in ballgown at Akershus. We were there in September for dinner. The princesses were great, the food . . . well, I'll just say we're doing a breakfast ressie in December!

Well, first she looked a bit startled. I'm guessing it's the first time she'd been asked that by a 5yo! Then she looked like she was stifling a chuckle, before she answered that "yes, he most certainly was!"

Funnier still was the look my dd gave her then . . . kind of a "well, okay, if you say so . . .!"

Oh my gosh! That is too funny!!

We are hoping to see her at our dinner in May. She is DD5's Favorite!!

We did see her 2 yrs ago at the dinner there as well.

I've seen her at dinner all 3 times I've been there at Princess Storybook. I haven't seen her at the couple of times I've eaten lunch there. I was told she can only make it to dinner, since she has to swim from the Magic Kingdom.

There is also "Ariel's Grotto" restaurant, in DCA in California, where you can find Ariel.

Well, of course, that makes sense...especially when you take into consideration that she has to shower and do her hair (the wet look just isn't in for princesses).
