Little Mermaid dvd?

Does anyone out there know when Little Mermaid will be released? It is one that I didn't buy when it was out previously and I'm kicking myself!! How long do they normally take to re-release them?

I thought I read somewhere that it is not coming back until 2008!!! I couldn't wait that long so I bought someone else's on Ebay!! You just have to be careful who you buy from...

It was release on DVD a couple years ago, it came free when you pre-ordered Snow White. The real release is October 2006 (unoffical but 90% right)

Don't quote me on this but I think its 10 years between each re-release with the exception of special editions. I know they just released the Mulan 2 disc set a couple of months ago and we bought our regular DVD edition just a couple of years ago. I know Fantasia was slated for a 10 year shelving. Not sure about the other movies.

They have changed it to 5 years. But with Disney you never know. They could change it again any time.

You might be able to find it in a used book store that also sells used DVDs.

I also bought mine on e-bay. I lost a few auctions before I finally got one... Like a previous person mentioned, you have to be careful who you're buying from and that the "region code" is correct for the US, or it might not play in your player.
