Little Mermaid Buildings Best View?

My 4 year old daughter loves the Little Mermaid, so we are going to stay at AOA in the LM room for one night before our stays at AKL. I know from the maps I've seen that they are housed in buildings 7, 8, and 9. I don't really want to look at a parking lot, so I am trying to get the best view room. I see in building 7 that there is water backing up to it. I think it would be nice to have a view of the pool. I can't seem to find a room layout and when I called, I didn't get much help from the CM I talked to, so I said I would do some research before I called back to book the room. I can't find online a detailed room number layout on the buildings. Can anyone help? Thanks!!:)

No. Just request "pool view" (or pool or water facing). Be general. Let the resort - where they know - select your room from among all appropriate rooms. Not every room that doesn't face the pool faces a parking lot.

Thanks! I did call back and got a very informative CM. She requested a courtyard view as she called it. She had stayed at AOA and that was her suggestion. She also said, that there really is no bad view because Disney angled the view and have characters outside the windows or something like that.

We stayed in the Ursula building in Feb. (can't remember bldg # but think that might be 7). Our room was around the back and the view was of the lake and POP Century, very nice. If your room was in the front of the building you faced the LM pool and I assume what they consider the "courtyard", which is also where the big statues are. Not sure what the view from the back of the King Triton bldg. would be and I think the back of the Ariel bldg. might be too far away to still have views of any of the POP bldgs?? Not really sure of that, either, but if you requested and get a "courtyard" view you'll probably be facing the pool and/or some of the character statues :)

The TP map is good, but if you go on the AoA resort thread here on the Resort board, that map gives a little bit more detail as to what your views may be. For instance, as I mentioned before we didn't walk around the back of the Ariel or King Triton buildings, but it does look like if your room faced the back you'd have a view of a parking lot. Ursula is bldg. 7 which is where we were, and again the view around back of POP and Hourglass lake was really nice, especially in the morning and when lit up at night :thumbsup2
