I was there about 10 days ago & Bear was still running, however the little mermaid was in rehab

Never experienced "bear" but Mermaid is a very cute show.

Little Mermaid is closed for rehab. Bear(Now known as Playhouse Disney - Live on Stage!) is open.

The Voyage of the Little Mermaid is supposed to come out of rehab on March 1st, so as long as that schedule holds, your friend should be OK.

Playhouse Disney features Bear in the Big Blue House, Rolie Polie Olie, characters from the Book of Pooh, and Stanley. My children loved this show.

Note: During our trip last month they were testing Fast Pass for Playhouse Disney, so your friend may want to utilize that if it is still available.
