Little kids at Hollywood studios

In addition to what you mentioned, I think a lot of parents fear it will be a miserable experience trying to keep masks on little kids. It takes a die hard Disney family to go in these conditions. My littles are good at wearing masks but I know they won't last all day. I think HS has just enough to go in the morning for a couple hours and come back in the evening for a couple of hours. The rest of the day they will be happier in the pool.

Yes, this. My son touches all over the front of his mask, and I don't know how long he would be able to wear it. Why spend all that money just to have to leave and go back to the hotel room following a mask-related tantrum?

I just got back and honestly there were not many little kids in the parks period. It is just so strange to not see strollers parked everywhere and see lots of happy little faces. I think the atmosphere and lack of characters etc. and fears of COVID have just deterred most parents of little ones. There were a fair amount of older children and honestly if you have older kids who are ride fanatics, it might be a good time to go. But essentially it was a very adult crowd at all the parks.

the issue with DHS is that almost all the little kid entertainment is closed because of the Disney/Union dispute. Beauty and the Beast, Frozen Sing Along, Voyage of the Little Mermaid and of course the main attraction for that age, Disney Junior Dance Party
It's funny how you say "happy little faces" the park is so devoid of little ones that I've always said you are not at DIsney unless you hear a screaming kid, I have not heard a screaming kid in my 3 visits to DHS so far
