Does anyone know where in WDW I can get my dd2 a hair cut. When she was a baby we took her to the place on main street in MK just for her bangs but now she really needs a trim! Does anyone know where they do it? And also what the price might be?

We just came back from a quick trip. We went to downtown Disney and they have a Princess salon. Having boys, I cannot tell you the prices, but it might be fun for her. Also, some of the resorts have salons and you could take her there too. :wizard: Good luck.

When we were in WDW in May, we took my dd to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (princess salon) in DTD. At that time, they did not cut hair. They just styled it and put makeup on the children, etc. Isn't there a barber shop on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom?

We took DD back to the Main Street barber shop last May when she was 3-1/2. They did a really cute job. Even made her look like a Princess. Granted it is not nearly as fancy as the BBB, but not nearly as expensive either. I think it was $13.

The Harmony Barber Shop on Main St does haircuts. It's the same place where you got her bangs cut as a baby. If she's 2 now then they're in the same location (left side near the fire station and back stage entrance). Ihave heard they were somewhere else previously.

I have 3 girls, both of my youngest have have their first haircuts there (at 2! lol) and time my oldest and my dh have had their hair cut there 3 times. Most of the stylists do a good job. Steve is our favorite, but he wasn't there the day we went this year. Haircuts are $14 for children & 17 for adults. They take cash, credit and room charge. Go early, or later because there tends to be a line since there's only 2 chairs. Hours are 9-5.

DD(2.5) has had her hair cut there 5x and I have been very happy with 4 of them. The other time it was just okay. But, I just love the way that they work with children...lots of practice! It is on Main Street just as a couple other posters wrote.

DD needs another hair cut (her hair grows so fast) and I keep telling DH that we need to make another trip down to get her hair cut...he just says "Yeah, okay".

C'mon it's Disney! I think it was $14 if I am not mistaken.

Have fun.

my daughter (2 years old at the time) had her 2nd haircut at the harmony barbershop. they were SO nice to her, and even did her hair up like a princess since we were going to park fare for dinner that night. they gave her pixie dust and everything. she was sooooo happy. i cant recall how much it cost, because my husband got a haircut there at the same time (which dd thought was HILARIOUS!!!). we were there during the parade, so she got to watch the 2nd round of the parade (it ends right by the barbershop) as she got her haircut, which took any anxiety she may have had away.

BBB @ DTD does not cut hair . . . at least the last two times we were there.
Barbershop of Main Street does. Right next to the fire station.

Can the main street barbershop cut girls hair good? I am so scared of cutting her hair cut because it is curly. When it is wet it is halfway down her back. But when it dries it curls up to her shoulders. I am afriad that someone will cut to much and it will be way to short. Anyway, thanks for the replies. I have to do it, my DH really wants her to get a haircut!

I would call them and ask which CM is good with curly hair and what days they usually work. My girls hair is straight (2)- wavy/mildly curly (1). The CMs we had this time did not do as good of a job as the ones we had last time, but it was still good/great for the straight hair. Steve was great but the child with the wavy hair didn't get a haircut until this year when he wasn't working so I don't know if he's good with thattype of hair or not. There's a thread, I think it's in this forum, that has the phone number to the shop.
