Little Dress Up Shop - Anna and Elsa Dresses

Ok, well, you gave your opinion and I have mine. :) I happen to like them, and when I showed my DD4, she did too. I guess we'll just "slum it" with the knockoffs. ;) Luckily, my DDs have a wide appreciation, and I am not raising them to always demand brand labels.

I can't wait to get the dress. It arrived in my town's post office this morning.

DD2 was at a friend's house last week. The friend had a knock-off from Target. It looked even less like Disney's Elsa's dress as it had short sleeves (?!) and no cape in the back. DD2 LOVED it. I was afraid she wouldn't take it off and give it back to her friend. :lmao: She will be thrilled when Tinkerbell gives one to her next week at Disneyland. (Tinkerbell always leaves the girls gifts when we go.)

We also have a Snow White dress from this site. It doesn't look like the authentic Disney dress either. However, It's lasted through two Princess phases. It's so comfy it's DD2's favorite dress (over an actual Disney Cinderella one.) It's gotten lots of complements when it was worn at the parks (reminds me - gotta go find it and pack it away for our trip.)

Go, Tinkerbell! :)

For our trip, my DDs will be receiving the Elsa and Anna dresses from this store- Elsa for DD4 and Anna for DD2. Dd4 will also get the Jasmine outfit and DD2 will get Mulan, both from the Disney store (I got them on sale). They have some dresses from the Disney store, some from Target, some from Etsy.... they have seen other children in various combos and always mentioned how nice they look.

I'm sure your DD will love her dress!!!

She sounds charming.

None more than how you sound with your implications.

My reply wasn't to sound "heavy", it was to state that If I'm even spending $30 on a dress it had better look authentic and be worth the money. Even the Target $20 versions are more authentic than this one.

I just looked at the photos. The Elsa dress doesn't look anything near authentic. Anna looks ok. The dresses are so much more widely available at the stores these days - I wouldn't waste $30 on that Elsa dress. I just showed DD5 and she said "that's not the REAL Elsa dress like mine"

I can understand where you're coming from. When visiting the parks you want a dress that looks spot on, fits properly and photographs well. :-)

My 5 year old currently wears when dressing up as Elsa an old blue dress of mine, long socks on her hands as gloves teamed with an Hawaiian print sarong clipped around her neck as a cape... In her mind she is Elsa - each to their own I guess ;)

I'm so excited about giving the girls their dresses - I'm hoping they arrive while they are both at school so I can lay them out on their beds for when they get home. Can already hear them when they walk into their rooms - can't wait!!
