Hi there

So I know that lots of little girls wear there princess dresses around the park and my DD (3) has got hers to wear, I just wondered if any little boys dress up?? my little boy is nearly 2 and I can't find any costumes for little boys, if they do dress up what do they dress up as? the smallest costumes for boys I have found is from 3 to 5 years and my kids are tiny tots!! I just don't want him to feel left out!

Thanks :)

He certainly won't feel left out, it's relatively rare to see a boy dressed up, and you won't see THAT many girls dressed up either, in that for every girl you see dressed up you'll see another 200 who aren't dressed up, IYKWIM.
However if he does want to dress up the most likely outfits are cowboy ones from Frontierland or pirate ones from the POTC shop. Sometimes you might see a little Buzz or even a Stitch.

The Peter Pan dress up is adorable at DLP, i wish Kyra was boy so i could dress her in it lol.

Yes I forgot about that! DS had that when he was 2 (seems a lifetime ago, he was 7 last month!). Never wore it of course, hated dressing up! My children are complete opposites.

With the exchange rate, costumes are very expensive at DLRP now. Much cheaper to look on ebay before you go.

Thanks for the tip :) But I live in Italy so don't have to worry about the exchange rate ;)

Ah OK, should have noticed!
I'm not sure how much a boy's costume is as have never bought one there. The girls' dresses start at about 30 euros, but most are 45.

I hope they are not as expensive as the girls!! I bought my DD's beforehand, got snow white for her last year from wollies :) and got her cinderella dress at the disney store but it was on offer reduced from 45 Euros to 15, result!!
I looked for little boys costumes there but the smallest size was 3 - 5 frustrating!!

Generally, an age 3 costume from DLRP comes up smaller than British sizes, so might fit an age 2.

i saw a boy in a snow white dress once :rotfl:
that wud be my ds1 if he got the chance - except as cinderella!!!!:rotfl: dh of course wud kill me if i even bought one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and to answer.... mine have worn buzz lightyear (5yr) and tigger (nearly 3 yr)

my little boy wears his buzz costume and its adorable. the trousers come up a bit long so he just wears the top and the balaclarva (?sp) thing

Santa;) brought a furry stitch costume (for my tomboy DD2) and I think his elves paid E25!

Quick tip -

If you can manage a trip to the Disney store I recommend it! The Princess dresses there are £35 - yet show €60. In DLP they are €60 flat, huge saving! There are also Peter Pan and Power Ranger outfits (which seem to be the big thing right now in store). We saved a fortune for our upcoming trip, wish I'd gone before our NYE trip as I couldn't afford anything in DLP :-(

DD will be the owner of a Sleeping Beauty dress after her op and ready for her Princess meal in July :-)
