litte questions

I haven't done dcl since Aug 1998 so I don't remember some little details plus it was just dh and I for our honeymoon. This trip we are traveling with our two little ones. In addition a single friend is traveling with us in her own cabin. Some questions - are there phones in the rooms we can use free of charge to call stateroom to stateroom? Since we are not family would we be able to get keys to each others rooms? She has a verandah which dh may like to go out on and she may watch the baby in my room etc. Would anyone happen to know where we go for lifeboat drill. We are in room 5520 and she is in room 6080. Also if my 4 year old wants to sleep in my friends room one night is that allowed. Thanks!

Yes to free phones from stateroom to stateroom.

I'm sure Member Services will do the keys for you if both parties are present and agree.

Lifeboat drill.....sorry, I can only tell you about room 7070 (It was "J").

No problem if your little one wants a sleep over!

We were in 5520 too! Loved that room - It is fabulous.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news - the lifeboat drill for this room is nasty. We ended up being in the sun for about 1/2 hour - mostly because some families couldn't/wouldn't stop talking. It was hot and the sun glares right into your eyes.

If you can - bring a bottle of water or something with you. Definitely wear a visor or sunglasses. Make sure your little ones have them on too. Also - make sure you aren't wearing too warm of clothing.

But after the lifeboat drill is over - enjoy your cruise.

Your kids could certainly sleep with you friend if they chose to! We had room 6608 and our life boat drill was in the shade and lasted all of 5 minutes.
